Does your VIP status change immediatly on the tables if you're showing it? Would be funny as **** to go play a couple of tables of 2NL showing off your SN and then it suddenly it changes to SNE .

Haha yea would be funny but no i dont have any specific plans for 999,999....I will be midsession when I hit it and likely won't notice im there until the popup flashes (for 1 second before TN auto closes it) saying I hit SNE, then I'll quit loading.

Fail day but fig'd it would be after being out on the town until 6am. Tomorrow I'm going to be playing 1000 games (more if I feel like it), almost all of which I think should be at the $60 level....will jump in any 1 fish $100s, hopefully my internet decides to be quick so i can be 5th/6th in those lobbys . I hope I don't have to mix in any 30s, had to play 44 tonight and made me mad . Then Wednesday I should have about 10k vpps left to go, which should be about 700 games or so and then we're dunzo

The $200 games were absolutely horrible tonight even at offpeak, about 2-3 hours ago there were 2-3x as many $200s running as $60 and $100 combined....and almost every single $200 lobby was 6 regs.

If you're gonna grind mtts until you go home why not count the projected vpps and finish off with them? You're gonna do it anyway and just might save an hour or two like thar

I actually did my celebration last night in Tijuana at some clubs with 9 other guys....I'm honestly going hard with MTT's after finishing SNE or taking ver gato's advice 2 posts below and finishing up SNE with the mtts.

Hehe not a bad idea....kinda curious on this now. I'm splitting my mtt action between 6 sites so it's going to be hard to project, but I can outline it probably pretty close and add it up.....if I think I can get 10k vpps off of MTT's I'm golden

Heh I'm just super stubborn and when I saw those stats I got pissed and decided I was going to try my best to improve them...once I got that idea in my head, nothing was going to change it.

On top of that, the $100s+ are getting grosser every single day with less regs caring about being the 6th reg in a lobby (because they NEED their vpps) and more guys moving up stakes

Just woke up, going to work on building the mtt sched to see how many vpp's I think and I can get and then decide if I want to just be done with HT's after today and finish off the yr with MTT's to get SNE, or if I'll dedicate one more day to grinding hypers after today.

I can also plan on just playing 1-2 hours of hypers to end every night as I'll probably load through the late night turbos of which there's not a ton of volume, so a chance to pick up some extra vpp's every night with grinding SNGs.

Anyway, gonna get at it here quickly, 976.5k!

Fixed my redline on my current DB in time for todays session, fig'd we had to get a redline on the last days grind for giggles...uploaded hh's from nov 25-dec 7 (nov 25 date I broke the redline) in another DB and the redline wasn't pretty, -7k iirc with me running a good amount over EV (like 10k).

So yea, running pretty badly today but definitely still over EV on the month

Kinda failing it up at games today, probably will not hit 1000 games but it's all good as I wrote out my mtt sched I want to play each of the next 5 days and I should get about 1600 vpps per day at the mtts (and more sunday with majors) and I'll add in some hypers at start/end of my sessions for boosted vpps....so basically can get SNE with my current vpp count of 985k

I will however get in 1-2 more sessions today, hopefully end somewhere around 988-990k vpps.

i dont know why you are so drawn to them MTTs, mtts are for people that need to luckbox to have 100k+ year coz they cant do it on cash/sngs Arent you in position (and moreover next year with 5x multi) that playing Mtts is just -ev coz it would mean that you NEED to final table some biggie every day to get the same hourly as you get on sngs? Noting wrong in playing sunday major here and there, but focusing on them is mehh

MTTs are my true love for the game, I've said that a couple times ITT lately. This is going to be my last chance to 'grind' them until 2014 at the earliest. Because in 2014 I'll be playing no mtts besides tcoop/scoop/wcoop and occasional sunday swu/sunday mil. Seems like a perfectly reasonable play by me to use my last week in Mexico in 2012 to grind the game I actually love.

And going home from the 18th-3rd is plenty, will be over Illinois in 2-3 days

edit: And yes, I don't grind mtts because my sng hourly is $200+ and I couldnt do that at mtts

I think in terms of hourly, if you play small sites too, MTTs are better for sure

I am not aware of this. I try to mark everyone I have a certain number of hands with and I do have TN set to not reg 5/6 games with 5 marked players. If I sat it is either because someone else sat 6th or because I don't have that player marked.

If you want, you can show me the games that are 6 reg, and tell me that it is a 6 reg game and I will mark the players manually.

I dont agree with you on the hourly thing on avg but I may be wrong. The guys who are capable of doing it (the really sick hsmtters) for the most part don't play enough tables at once or add games to their grind at start/end of sessions....they sit there and have 1-4 tables on screen for LOTS of their day and aren't efficient at grinding at all

Obviously isn't true of everyone, I can think of a few guys who grind a ton of tables across many sites at mid-hsmtts (mement_mori and 1banditpanda come to mind), but I think theres very very very few guys who can have a matching hourly.

I personally (imo) think I have a higher hourly rb grinding sngs over mtting, so im doing that for now




WRT the 6 reg games, i watched you fill up the lobbys, only 2 of the 4 $200s you filled were 6 reg games and here they are. Im going to guess I know which 2 guys you don't know (should be obvious as the others of us have been high volume regs at hypers all yr) and both of those guys have played quite a few $60+ hypers and are both primarily HU sng guys, 1 of them is really really good
