So yesterday was a fail, but it was my planned half day/off day if I was going to take one. Ended up not playing again after that 1.0 hour session, went to late lunch with simp and greg and then they came back and chilled at my place for a while.

Today, well actually in like 45 mins, I'm doing the podcast recording for sitngogrinders.com, should be pretty fun! Will obvs let everyone know when it will hit the site, think the site is due to be relaunched in a couple of weeks.

After the interview is over, the plan is to get in 5-6 hours of HTs in and then go to bed early so that I'm awake at 4-4:30 am tomorrow instead of 6am or later. Will be happy if I end up with 4+ hours tho tbh as I'll be off to a late start because of the interview and probably in bed by 7 or 8pm

Interview went really well IMO, pretty interested to see how it turns out. For those of you who have asked me on skype/fb/twitter, the podcast is going to be public, so you won't have to be a member of the site to listen to it which is cool. As Pete said in his post ^^, no official relaunch date has been announced yet, but as soon as I know what day the podcast will be aired, I will post ITT.


Not a good start to the day playing wise . Have like 4k vpps, about to get on the grind again in a minute and am going to try to play until right before the FTP $322 super turbo MET FTOPS starts, then play that and take a dinner break, followed by a short session to end the day.

I'm curious would you really be confident doing the hyper grind you're doing on your own roll if you had a 50k poker bankroll (advice you gave couple o days ago) and had no prospects of getting backed/additional moneys easily?

Seems a bit crazy with the swings you go through . I would guess most other people doing this would advice to have more?

If I was SNE already and table selecting, yes. If I wasn't game selecting (which I don't) and wasn't SNE already, I'd want 60-80k pkoer br

Anyone good with web design or have a friend etc who could build me a website? Doesn't need to be anything nuts (probably just wordpress), just want to have a website that I can use for a more formal blog next yr + have w/e extras I think I should (will check out other poker player websites).

I don't really know anything about web design or anything like that, so if anyone can give me ideas on how much it might cost, that'd be cool too

have a friend that knows how to do that stuff. no idea how much it costs but could ask him if you haven't figured it out already.

Well, unexpected fun night ended up happening. Went to dinner with Ruse, king-nit and live@pompeii and in walked pokerjamers and 2 guys I didn't know (ended up being tRaMp$d0PrAy and MrBurns)...ended up going to a bar with them to shoot the **** and pool etc and then we ended up going back to their place (they live 3 floors above me) and played a 1/2 homegame with them....ended up losing 1 BI ($500) and then came back down to my place so I could get on the grind

Gonna not bother with sleep but just get some coffee going, a snack etc to get the energy flowing and then start loading dem hypers, probably will be completely done playing for the day around 9am-11am and will just chill and 1 table the ftops 109r 6m while watching tv shows to end my day

Oh yea, I sleep naturally...took them that night to try to get me to fall asleep quicker as I was going to bed at like 6:30pm or some obnoxiously early time where I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep

Just woke up in time to late register the 216 PLO rush FTOPs, doubled up pretty quickly but then flatted a 3b against someone i was 99% sure was only 3bing KKxx/AAxx and I had a rundown with 1 suit...hit top pair with a gutterball and lot of backdoor equity and got it in as I had <1.75PSB left behind, felt I was exactly a flip/very slight favorite against KKxx/AAxx that didn't flop 2 pr on board/have a lot of my outs and ran the hand after and indeed had 49% equity.....I really do need to learn PLO as soon as I'm done with SNGs as that game is too much fun . Don't think I'm terrible at it atm, but doubt I could beat anything higher than 50PLO, and 50 would probs be tough as its raked at something absurd like 15bb/100. W/e, done rambling about PLO, #FuturePlans

Anywho, gonna try to get on the HT grind here pretty quickly and get in as much volume as I can today and get to bed around 8pm so I can be up and at it around 3-4am tomorrow.

Nice little upswing to end this sesh, hopefully it carries into my last session of the day that I plan on playing after my PA makes me food and I've eaten and had time to rest.

Games have been horrible (obvs), at least it has seemed at the 200s that for the most part regs aren't sitting 6th if there's 5 regs in the lobby already....this is something that as a group of regs we all need to do a better job at, theres no way 6 reg $200s are profitable for anyone but stars in the long run IMO.

Anyways, gonna sit here and 1 table ftops 109r and watch American Horror Story, gla!

1. i asked before, but you didnt notice: you were saying sth about filtering hands through the different levels? how is it possible?
2. im struggling with spots like this, lets say we are in button w/ 15bbs, minraise and sb/bb jams for 15bbs - how can I analyze this spot? im talking about icm, when there are 3-4 ppl left .. what software are you using in such spots?
