Didn't grind yesterday, was planning on playing after watching the packers/giants game (omg the packers looked horrible), but then ended up taking 3 people to Hong Kong for their first time, always a pleasure of mine.

WRT the whole offpeak grind schedule, I forgot that next Sunday starts FTOPs and I'll pretty much be playing every event minus the 2 1k's and the 2k's and then 10game/draw games, and almost ALL the events start between 8am and 2pm my time, which basically means I simply can't do this offpeak grind if I want to play FTOPs....which I do really want to.

So guess I'll just keep plugging away, honestly at this point I just need to get the hours in as I've been super failing it up this past week.

Tentative plan is for 8k+ vpps today, wake up early tomorrow and get 15k+ vpps in

Honestly I agree with you, seems like this world doesn't want me to hit SNE this yr with all the bs ive dealt with in the past month, continued internet problems which led me to grinding 13/14 days in a row at other peoples places and now my account being locked for 36 hours.

I was actually just talking though about a similar topic (the being able to handle anything life throws me) the other night at dinner with MrDurden and his gf...about how I've really done a lot of growing up since moving to Mexico and have matured quite a bit. They both have said how I'm definitely quite a different person than when I first got here, mostly in positives ways, but in some negative too.

The negative is just I guess I'm starting to see more and more how ****** ******ed people are and how soooo many people in the US are just as Rusemandingo put it 'just thinking all these people are just such brainwashed sheep everyone is an all these stupid commecials people get sucked into and how they have t ohave t latest phoen and cars that are 1/4 if their income'. I've definitely talked about some negative **** like that in this thread and it's true, I do now look down on a lot of people, both poker players but mostly the 'real world.'

So yea as you can see from above, I'm not back on PS yet. They are questioning 2 xfers I made Sunday, hopefully all is sorted soon. I always fear the worst/freak out when my account is frozen and snap think I'm going to be banned. Hopefully all will be fine

In the meantime, have been playing some $20 HU st's on ftp to pass the time, finally have a working redline for them past ~40 games as I found an ftp patch for HM1. Up 11 bi's so far pre RB in about 75 games played, probably will continue to play them today unless my account gets unlocked sooner rather than later

Sorry to hear this! Such a scary thing to be banned and the timing can not be worse! I am really pulling for you hitting SNE. Hopefully this is just a small issue and is resolved soon.

I agree with you completely. It is very sad how robotic american culture has made people. Be born, go to school, go to college, get a job, work for long hours and be paid a dismal amount of money for 40 years, then retire. If you deviate from that you are seen as some sort of societal reject. It is absolutely absurd. Some of the greatest people in this world have deviated greatly from that standard, and many more will in the future.

Where I disagree with you is letting it effect you in any way, but especially negatively. Do what it takes to make yourself happy and successful. That is it. Never give another thought to what the sheeple think of you and just (sun) all day. You probably work 1/4 the hours and make at least 3x the money they do anyway Also obviously dont waste another second giving a **** what they think about themselves or do with their lives either. It simply is not your problem.

There's sheeple everywhere, in many different forms. Some are easier to spot than others. There's poker sheeple herds as well.

We're all capable of doing stupid sh-t, just don't end up being the guy who constantly sees/bitches about the stupid sh-t others do, while lacking the self-awareness of your own propensity for stupidness (generally speaking - we all possess it).

And seeing/looking for faults back home doesn't mean there's not a lot of positives as well. And vice-versa. Eye of the beholder. You kind of get what you're looking for, one way or another.
