If you've got an extra $20k lying around, why do you use backers and not just keep 100% of your profits? I mean I understand you're risk averse, but if you played $30's-$60's on your own your hourly would skyrocket.

Nah not playing any mtts til i get SNE, kinda over playing mtts anyhow. Will play TCOOP for sure and I'm sure I'll play SCOOP/WCOOP again, but sincerely doubt I play many more mtts than that all year.

I said I don't have an extra 20k around and that I'm only taking 5k-10k of it myself and no, you're wrong that my hourly would skyrocket if I played just 30s-60s on my own dime; I showed the math on the last page somewhere on the $/game comparing 'best' case scenario for 30s compared to 'worst' case scenario for 200s and I'm making more at the 'worst' case $200 than the 'best' case $30 (which was an impossible # to hit)...obviously it's even better for me at 60s/100s since those games are softer. Plus you take into account that I have to be playing 60s+ to hit SNE by the end of the year, and it just doesn't make all that much sense.

And I am taking 50% of myself next yr and getting a 70% cut on my backers 50%, so I'll be getting 85% of my profit in 2013 + bop bonuses, so won't be giving up much to get rid of half the variance I'll experience.

Decent day yesterday although I didnt get in as much volume as I wanted to...I blame Apowers1968 for this as we went and made a 7/11 run as per his request, and then we sat around and bs'd for hours and didnt do **** .

Today not sure how well I'll do volumewise as Thaibargirl8 arrives and think a few of us are gonna go out to dinner after he gets here, will try to get on the grind here quickly and get in as much volume before he gets here....hopefully the games arent too gross .

While I agree that obv playing 200s for you is better, just want to point out your calculation was a bit bull**** . If you could 18-20 table 200s all the time (in their current state) hitting -0.5% would be very impressive, and people would be dying to bet against you if you put up decent odds in any sort of propbet involving that+volume .

Heh ya, #Withered. Not going to be playing that many mtts, just $54-$215/109^3 turbos to try to keep me loading longer on avg each session. Also need to play the offpeak 109t's up to the $109 12k or 12.5k (the one that started 30 mins ago) as I tend to just quit grinding every night at about 9-10pm and sit around and do nothing for 3-4 hrs.
