Got in a solid session this afternoon but got lawl_crushed again. May wait ~45 mins to start up again as l@p and octavian_c are gonna roll by and return my car, or I might just start up again, not sure as of posting this. Gonna hopefully get in another 200+ games, gla!

Don't worry. Slow and steady wins the race; not all changes must be made overnight. And once you see the numbers start to get lower and lower, you want to keep doing it even more. I'd post on here about poker but by golly you're worlds better than me. Good Luck!

Well been getting lawl_stomped still the last few days, I was due for a downswing though so I can't really bitch about it.

I'm super cash broke right now, and didn't realize how bad it was until I logged into my online banking and almost had a heart attack, therefore I had to tell my student I couldn't dedicate as much time to this project as I wanted to and was going to have to back out on him; I simply need to be spending every hour I am dedicating towards poker working on my game/playing to maximize my hourly, something like this could wait for the future. He's still going to send random HH's he has questions on though and I'll look at them when I have a chance as I feel bad that I backed out after agreeing to a deal.

Anyway, gonna run down to Mongolian Grill real quick and get my food for the day for $8, then will be back and on the grindddd

I've gotta step up the volume if I want to hit my 12k games goal! For those wondering how many hours Ive put in on Merge to build up that huge 1st place lead on 1st, 110.9 is the answer, imagine if I actually played 200 hrs in a month

SS graph for last 2 days (pre rb):

Hey man just wanna say that i love this thread i check on it everyday keep up the good work man. I do have a Q for you if that's OK i was just wondering what kind of BR would be needed to play 6man hypers even if a player was starting from like the $1.50 games and wanting to move up?

You can still have a little of the other stuff, but filling your belly with pasta and chicken wings is not the way to go, obviously
afaik, calories in calories out is the beginning and the end. Thermodynamics ftw.

I've been lurking around in this thread for a while, first time posting. I recently just dropped 45 pounds, going from 210 to 165 in about 1 year. A few tips for the upcoming journey:

Change your diet. If you cut out beer and pop in exchange for water and BLACK coffee 5 or 6 days of the week, you're giving up around 5,000 calories/week. That alone could potentially cut out 73 pounds of weight in a year depending on your yearly caloric intake.

Also, eat on a regular schedule. Breakfast is very important! It jump starts the metabolism. Lunch is also extremely important, dinner not so much. Or you could obviously eat a few smaller meals per day as long as you start with breakfast. I eased my way into healthy eating as well. I started off big and not-so healthy for meals. I gradually replaced items until I got used to eating healthy everyday.

Exercise! Half an hour a day 5 days a week. It doesn't have to be strenuous either. Shooting basketball around (as long as you're at least jogging for the rebound) is good enough. Personally, I had a stationary bike and would ride that while playing video games. Before you knew it, 30 minutes were up and I had burned somewhere between 400 and 600 calories.

Don't smoke and don't do drugs. What good is being healthy and having a much better weight if your insides and brains are fried? It's not like you can't party, but just do it much less. Oh, and restrain from eating fast food. This will help you in two ways.

1. You will eat healthier.
2. You will learn how to be a better cook. And ladies...not just **** buddies, but ladies you can marry....love a guy that knows how to cook.

Hope this helps!
The biggest problem about your 'diet' is you are setting yourself up to fail. This book will change the way you diet and think about food forever:

Got pwned on Merge again today but I knew I was running super pure earlier this month and the downswing would hit at some point, always annoying though!

I did however run like god on Cake/Revolution to book a slight winning day pre RB overall which is always nice . Finally made a player group in the new SS, so I'll be able to post just 1 graph for both networks combined which is sweet.

Gonna try to get in 6+ hours tomorrow, meeting a TJ girl at midnight and then going wherever with her, no firm plans made yet.

I missed what coulda been a sick night here in Rosarito, there was some costume party going on at Papas n Beer (bar/nightclub on the beach) that I know a group of the Rosa bro's went to....I just did a lap driving around the area trollin hot girls, no ez pickups though. Oh well, gotta try obvs

Gla tomorrow!

Tyty! I would say that at the $1.50s you'd be fine starting with like $100 or something like that and I'd start shottaking the next highest buyins (there are $3s? I'm not even sure) at $250 or something like that. For moving up to the $7s, Id suggest having $600 before you start mixing them in with your sessions...definitely just progressively moving up stakes is the way to do it; ie start with adding 2 tables of the next highest stake with your sessions, then 3, then 4 etc etc as your br continues to grow.

Ahhh more diet talk, always good **** . I'm not dedicated enough right now to really change THAT much of my daily routine besides doing simple **** like eating less garbage type food (cookies, ice cream etc) and getting a bit more exercise.

Welp, today is pretty much chalked up to a fail, volume just simply wasn't there. I tried to start loading around 1pm and I was still ridiculously tired/didn't feel good and the games were sooo slow, so I just went back to bed. Got back up and started loading again at 4, and again they just weren't really loading. Stuck it out for 2 hrs 45 mins and then decided to gg the sesh when I had LOL 4 active tables up while being reg'd in every $5, $10, $20, $35, $52 on Merge and every $15, $30 on revolution/cake. I did however make up for it by running like god , profited >1k pre RB today which is always sweet .

The redline *might* finally be fixed for the new structure, fozzy released a new build for us today that was supposed to correct both the winnings problems (some games were being recorded as DoN's or simply no prizes entered) and the EV problems, looked like after browswing through my DB from todays games that it might be fixed, so going to reimport all my hh's.

Probably not playing any more tonight, unless it's a quick session before going to TJ

ur such a sicko.

oh, also... ffs u mother****er stop drinking soda. it's just so bad.
i used to love soda and drink it a bunch each day and then i just decided to quit cold turkey. i'm at the point now where i'll try to have some (mostly if it's the only thing around, or i get a random urge to have some) and can only tollerate a few swigs - it's just nasty to me now.

We really don't know for sure one way or the other, but it's becoming a popular belief that weight gain and loss is a lot more complicated than thermodynamics, and the "calories in, calories out" theory.

I don't know how much you care about this issue in particular, but if you have the time and interest, check out this video...I THINK this is the one I watched a while back (if not, there are several other Gary Taubes videos on youtube). He presents a very different perspective on the situation, and, even if his views are ultimately incorrect, the fact is that he definitely pokes some big holes in our current understanding of diet and weight loss.

If you want a book to read on the subject, I would suggest "Toxic Fat" by Dr. Barry Sears.

About to get on the ST grind in a bit, had to wake up at 11:30 to play the VIP freeroll on Merge, been just sittin here trying to wake up since then .

Reimported my entire DB last night and as I said, it appeared from everything I read on skype that the redline was accurate so *hopefully* I can start providing redline graphs daily now. The winnings were definitely correct when I imported all the HH's whereas they weren't during my other 2 complete reimport's, so I really am thinking the HEM team got it fixed this time.

And what the graph looks like with RB included (I put in the $2k bonus for winning sng lb already as ive locked it up)

Going to post my August Goals/Freerolls now, so scoop em up! I really really really want to put up a bunch of hours this month but I'm not increasing the # of games as I really have liked what I've been doing lately wrt my table count, and if anything I'll be lowering it in August.

August Goals (number of freerolls given):
$25-12,000+ games (2)
$25-200 hours (2)
$25-5k+ profit post rb (2)
$25-Win Merge LB (2)...Note: If I switch to Cake/Revolution I will substitute this freeroll or put you guys in with one of the above freerolls

Just c/p which one you want in your post and remember, you get paid out if I do not hit the goal.

Gla today, bout to get on the grind!
