And Quad, the real problem is I want to be playing MTT's but nobody will come to an agreement with my backer to buy the MU because my backer won't sell for <100%. The problem after that is I despise hypers, so I tried 2 other formats of sngs to see if I liked them better and I fig'd out what the overall problem is...I hate sng's in general.

So until I clear MU and can get back into mtts, I'm going to be miserable. After playing some 18s and fifty50s, I now know I want to spend my misery playing hypers as they are less withering than other formats of sng, so I will do that

how can you despise hypers, they are fun,. so are 18s, just ask ur roommate he is on a 10k downer and will still tell u they are fun.

the mindset of money is getting in the way with playing poker, stop thinking about make up, backers and all that ******ed bs. just play the sng game type u enjoy, analyze them to death, crush the ******ed regs that are on 30$ and dont think about all these shyt around it

Am I right in thinking all the switching is because deep down you have little confidence in your game and don't actually enjoy PLAYING poker?

I've pretty much had a very similar realization the other day and am switching back over to cash, i asked myself what do i think is going to change as far as poker goes in the next 5 years and it comes down to not much. It should just get bigger. The majority of online players will still be playing 6 max NL/PLO or NL mtts/sngs.

So then i asked myself, which of those would I enjoy the most. Cash and MTT series, is the answer, but unfortunately I dont' have the proper br to play mtt series on my own, and can't really afford to not make money in the month. (even if you are backed or free rolled you still lose hours from ur normal grind, hours at the end of the month that could lead to a negative month on overall life roll because of the cost of living.)

The reason why I ask myself which of the popular formats I enjoy the most instead of which of the formats is my hourly highest at, is because if I enjoy the format I will not only be able to work harder at, but play with a much larger amount of passion. That translates over to being able to put in more hours (since my discipline isn't perfect) and other benefits such as hey, I don't know, actually improving at poker...

Either way, i know ur a smart guy and whatever you choose i'm sure you will beat as long as you can figure out exactly what it is you would like to beat. And if it is MTT's and you can't play them in the present because your in a similar no BR FK LIFE situation, if your desire is large enough, u'll do what u have to, to get em. GL with the grind jdawg, stay grinding!

2 days at a format for jdawg is like 2 months for the rest of us.
