Lol, yesterday was a bloodbath, all I'm even going to say about it.

Was out til 5am in TJ, so only playing the SCOOP events today and off to bed early. I'm changing up my grind a bit and not going to mix in euro sites for a week or so and see how I like it; will lower my ABI and I'll get some super soft tourneys that I don't get on a daily basis. Besides that, it's way easier to just play on 1 site instead of 3-6 and maybe I'll be able to put up a good TLB score and get some extra value, who the F knows . I probably will still play some merge MTT's at night as the PS schedule thins out and there's a bunch of good value $11-33 mtt's on merge from ~3pm here-10pm

I'm going to try to get in the habit of posting an update after each session giving results from the session on that day, and then post the graph from the day before that, as obv when my sesh is over there is usually still multiple mtt's running from that day, so my graph I posted wouldn't actually be accurate.

Yea for sure, def sick swings and with PS field sizes you can get some long dry spells between binks.

So woke up to some bad news today, PokerSmart is no longer staking MTTs monday-saturday anymore, so I guess I'm going back to $30 and $100 hypers and will continue the SNE chase. Pretty surprised by all of this but w/e, not a huge deal.

SNE grind is going to be pretty tough after basically not playing in January and then playing mtt's for the past 1.5 months, but still think I'll be able to get it done if I stay focused and dedicated.

Will ease back into sng's today, probably starting up at 2pm when the $11/$109/$1050 SCOOP starts as PokerSmart still is staking for Sundays/Series like SCOOP/WCOOP/etc

Back to where it all started, good ol' hypers Good luck Josh! Grind some low-med stake merge mtts on the side on your own dime, you will crush them for sure for some extra $$ imo

Actually 5 mins after posting an update, got a PM from a guy who backs for up to HSMTT's asking me if I needed a backing deal, I wasn't going to actively seek another MTT deal, but when it fell into my lap with a guy I respect, not going to turn it down. Won't be starting til next week though as he's grinding hard through SCOOP and there's still other business that has to be taken care of like him buying my MU off my SNG backer, so hopefully all of that goes well and I'll be right back on the MTT grind starting next week.

In the meantime, I'll be continuing to play SCOOP's for PokerSmart and then I'll be putting in some hyper turbo volume for my sng backer trying to work off some of that makeup, even knowing I won't see any profit I make this week; definitely the right thing to do.

So had a long think about it and I decided that I'm turning down the MTT offer and will be going back to hypers (not $100s though/no SNE grind). I'll be grinding $15/30 6m hypers and have about $13k of MU to clear with my backer, so gonna take a LOT of games to get out of MU. My plan is to clear MU, build up a slight liferoll again and then go on my own whenever I'm properly rolled for $15 6m hypers and start with them and move up as I'm able to.

I highly doubt I'll make SNE as I'd have to move back up to $100s at some point in the year to do that, and SNE isn't even going to be my goal, but if I find that the games get softer at any point of the year, will likely try to find a backer for them to finish off SNE with.

Besides that, don't really have much of an update. Lost a flip with ~120 left on day 2 of the $109 SCOOP from tuesday, woulda had a pretty healthy stack but as most of my sample on PS has gone, haven't run well when it counts.

Last day of playing just MTTs, missed a lot of the SCOOP events the last 2 days as PokerSmart didn't get me funds in time, pretty laughable how unorganized they are sometimes.

So friday night I took my desktop and monitor over to MrDurden's place to set up shop as I was grinding at his place on Saturday. I got back over there at about 8:20 am on Saturday and for most of the day just sat around and drank and was watching him play. As the day went on, more and more people showed up to his place and by the time the FT came around there was like 15+ of us just drinking and railing the FT, was a pretty fun time. He ended up taking 2nd for a 6figure score, congrats to him!

Anyway, playing some MTT's today and then back to reality tomorrow, will be on the $15-30 6m hyper grind.

Here's my mtt graph for $50+ bi's since april 15th, fuuuu mtts. Also is missing about 4k of mtt's i busted today too. All games adds another like 800 mtts and -3k more profits

@ ibooboo: no, i got paid out after my tourney win and i just got dropped by my mtt backers because they dropped everyone on the monday-saturday deal they did

gotcha. I can definitely understand that as I started playing full time at the beginning of april and was in a decent amount of makeup with my online backer and thought i was gonna have to grind a lotta live at first to bring in some money while i got outta makeup. luckily april ended up being a heater month and i was able to bust outta makeup pretty fast. the way that pokersmart stable is being run seems pretty weird. I can't imagine that you are the only one in makeup and to just drop all those guys and leave all that equity on the table is pretty crazy.
