Ran pretty poorly today, but had a super nice looking EV line which is always promising . Going to just call it a night, my eyes are pretty tired right now which means I'm probably still tired from partying last night. Would rather just go to bed early and get up and grind a long Saturday instead of pushing the volume tonight.

Will do a complete monthly breakdown tomorrow after my session, probably is going to have a TON of numbers in it and graphs, so be prepared!

Previous VPP count: 192,083.32
VPP count: 195,296.26
VPPs accrued: 3212.94
Pace: 248,000
Hours played: 2.8
VPP/hr: 1147

Nah think it's the always changing weather this time, the last time I got sick was definitely because of the partying/blow, this time it's the weather.
You could always just move to Norway where it's stable crap all day every day

Nice to see you crush

Haha, Norway (and most of Europe) is too expensive! Would rather live in my oceanfront condo for 1/3rd the price .

And tyty, haven't seen you posting around too much lately!

Just woke up and going to get on the grind in a bit; slept for like 11 hrs or some **** like that, #FeelsGoodYo. Gla today, here's some motivation!

03-31-2012 , 06:06 PM
Got 1 session in today and then got messaged by someone from PokerSmart and have been dealing with that for the past about 2 hours, got myself an MTT backer! The cool part is I'm allowed to keep a portion for myself, so keeping a % on stake with my SNG backer so everyone will be getting a piece of the pie!

My weekday schedule is going to consist of these tournaments when I'm playing during their start times....probably will play ~50-75% of the schedule each day

75 30k hot 75
55 125k big 55
55 20k hot 55
162 75k big 162
44 25k hot 44
109 15k/25k 6m/9m
162 50k Nightly 162
55 30k Nightly 55

And my Saturday and Sunday schedules are both going to be huge as they will be total MTT grinds; sundays I'll also be mixing in majors on Party, Ipoker, Ongame and Merge.

Tomorrow I won't be playing the majors on the "other" sites as I have to figure out how I'm going to get money on these networks and don't have enough time to get it all planned out, no worries though.

Anyway enough of that, heres my graph on the day so far, have run pretty well but still piles and piles under EV overall!

Okay so finally got my schedule finalized that I will start playing next weekend. I'll play those daily's that I listed in my last post ^^^ monday-friday and this will be my saturday/sunday schedule.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...xTG1oa3c#gid=1

I might make some tweaks to it if I feel like I have too many tables up at certain points of the day, but I feel that it's pretty reasonable. I'll also likely add in some other MTT's going forward if I'm having success, not sure which tournaments would be the first I'd add in though, maybe the Party $530 highroller or the big 109r on Sunday, I'd have to do some scouting or ask around and try to figure out which MTT's would be best for my expectation.

Anyway, I have to get back on the SNG grind here in a bit, have spent a lot of time on this today so far!

Will be back tonight with a monthly wrapup and graphs

Okay wrapping up the day and will be off to bed early as I have a super early day tomorrow, starting at 2:30am instead of the normal 5am that I'm planning on in future weeks.

Graph of today:

Monthly wrapup: Here comes a whole lot of SNG screenshots and numbers

Overall SNGs:

Profit: 1380.86
EV adjusted profit: 7280.57
Rake Paid: 17216.55
Rakeback (60%, SNE value): 10329.93
Total Profit: 11710.79
Hours: 101.10
Hourly: $115.83

Hyper Turbo Only:

Profit: 4328.21
EV adjusted profit: 6174.62
Rake Paid: 16334.77
Rakeback (60%, SNE value): 9800.86
Total Profit: 14129.07
Hours: 93.2
Hourly: $151.60

And then here's the total profit I've actually seen on the yr so far at hyper turbo SNG's, not assuming I hit SNE and putting in 60% rb or w/e, it's just everything ive accrued so far

SNG Profit: 1339
"Rakeback" acrued: $13372.464 ($1200 stellars,2x $4k fpp bonus, $3372.46 worth of FPP in my acct atm, $300 jan vip blastoff, $500 $1mil freeroll)
Total Profit: 14711.464
SNG Hours in 2012: 245.10 (lmao!)

This is giving me a headache You do like to complicate things.

So say you're playing a $100 MTT, who's putting up what and what are the % splits?

Haha yea its def a bit complicated, let me try to explain it the best I can though.

So there's 2 different types of tournaments, the "regular" tourneys and the "sunday majors". Throughout both portions of the deal, Pokersmart can cover between 50%-100% of your buyins and you can keep 0%-50%. For right now, I'm having Pokersmart cover 80% of the buyins and my SNG backer is covering 20% in which we'll split profit 50/50 as we would do if i played mtt's for him. Eventually I'd like to keep my own portion of MTT action, and obv would like to weight towards upping it to the maximum of 50% as well, but that'll happen in the long run.

The deal on the "regular" tourneys is that I get paid out at the end of a 1000 tournament contract and I get 35% profit from pokersmart on those tournaments (plus the 20% profit off the action I'm keeping myself/through my backer). There's no makeup attached to the deal, so if I were to finish in the red, I wouldn't have makeup to start the next contract. I also can get a raised cut after 1000 tournaments, the fund manager said that as long as it look's like I've been playing well (through hh reviews with their coaches dudeoflife and neverscaredb, not results orientated), I should get a raised cut. Below is an example

Say I finish the 1k game contract and am in exactly $10,000 of profit. I would get back $4800 total, $8k *35% (for pokersmart)=$2800 + $10k * 20% (my own cut)=$2000 and I'd see $3800 of it total with my backer seeing $1000 of it.

Okay so those are for the non "majors". The tournaments below are all considered majors and I get 25% profit on them through pokersmart, plus also keep 20% of my own action through my SNG backer. I get paid out either after playing 20 sunday sessions for them or each Sunday (I'm not sure on this yet and I didn't start yesterday so won't find out til next sunday), same thing as above with no makeup etc, just a slightly smaller cut.

Sunday Milion (PS)
Sunday Warm UP (PS)
Sunday KickOff (PS)
Bigger 109 (PS)
Bigger 162 (PS)
Sunday Rebuy (PS)
Bigger 55 (PS)
SM 2ndChance (PS)
Supersonic (PS)
162 Sunday 6-max (PS)
iPoker: 200K Guaranteed 215$
Ongame: 250K Guaranteed 200$
Carbon: 100K Guaranteed 109$
Party: 200K Guaranteed 215$
Bodog: 100K Guaranteed 162$
$108 1R1A 100k gtd (ongame)

Hope that all makes a bit of sense

Time to start grinding, didn't really play any hypers yesterday on the 1st and I actually didn't play very many MTT's and didn't start my stake with Pokersmart. I ended up not going to bed Saturday night so didn't want to play HSMTT's on Sunday lol. I got 3rd in a $5.10 hyper for like $766, 6th in an early $27 TKO, 14th in the $33 10k and 7th in the $11 7.5k losing AA to J7o AI OTF for 1/7 . Had some other deep runs, but that's everything noteworthy.

Didn't end up making any april goals in my end of March post as I wasn't totally sure what was going on yet with Pokersmart. I'm still going to try to hit 1.5million vpp's, but I feel that it's going to be super tough. From here on out I need to try to get 150k vpp's a month to make that happen, so I'll see how it goes this month and then decide if I still want to push for 1.5mil even with me playing MTT's every saturday/sunday here on out

[ ] 150,000 vpps
[ ] 150+ hyper hours
[ ] 20k profit (after 60% sne rb)
[ ] FT a tournament on that "sunday major" list (1 time!)

Thx man, I actually can play literally anything I want tourney wise (like 1ks/2ks etc) and could play other games but I probably won't as it's too hard to mix in other **** when playing lots of NLHE mtts. I fig'd I'd have to build a schedule with them as I don't have a ton of HSMTT experience but heres part of the dialogue from our skype convo

[3/31/2012 1:52:03 PM] Joshua Hoesel (jdawg91): okay, so once we get a schedule in order here, i can figure out how much of a % i want to have on my own. will probably be something like 10-20%
[3/31/2012 1:52:50 PM] Pokersmart: well its ur responsibility to get a schedule. we don't force players to play what we want. I mean, we don't provide schedules
[3/31/2012 1:54:41 PM] Joshua Hoesel (jdawg91): i just have to provide you guys with a total ill spend in bi's then yea?
[3/31/2012 1:55:14 PM] Pokersmart: yeah. just tell the money to ship

Haha yea, the bookkeeping is pretty tough although Pokersmart has a good spreadsheet system that helps out!

And yea definitely good timing with SCOOP and Party Pokerfest coming up, just gotta decide how nuts I'm gonna go during SCOOP wrt playing FO's $1k+ etc, probably won't play everything but a decent number of **** I'd never be expecting to play in 2012.

Got crushed pretty hard today. Meh hours put in as we went grocery shopping in the morning and then I was dealing with staking **** for a while and then dealing with my car. Thankfully my car is finally on the way; my mom did the standard "mom thing" and took pictures lol.

Anyway, tomorrow will be another light volume day as when 4pm rolls around I'll be watching the Cardinals opening day. I know a few of you guys know this but most readers dont; my family has hosted minor league baseball players for years and years now. The guy pitching on opening day for the St. Louis Cardinals, Kyle Lohse, was hosted by my family when he played for the Rockford Cubbies (Class A of the Chicago Cubs at the time) when I was in 1st grade back in 1998, he lived with us for the summer but we've kept in touch since, seeing him usually 1-2x a year for the past 14 yrs. Anyway, he's pitching on opening day and it's on ESPN so Ive run good and will be able to watch .

      Vamossss Cardinals

Yea it's been pretty fun over the years and we've known a ton of guys who've made it to the ML's. Jon Garland (pitches for the Dodgers now I think) was one of Kyle's closer friends on the Rockford Cubbies and he hungout a ton at our house and went almost everywhere with Kyle and us which was really cool. Jon pitched for the Chicago White Sox for a number of yrs and we made frequent trips to the southside to see him pitch, and of course my mom had to deliver him brownies as he <3'd my mom's baking .

Besides Jon, we also know Adam Dunn and Austin Kearns very well as they both lived in an apartment that we hosted (instead of the players living at our house) when they played for the Rockford Reds (Class 1A of the Cincinnati Reds, Rockford's affiliates changed a lot lol). There's more guys that we know that are in the big leagues or that have made appearances like Prince Fielder, Eric Hinske, Brandon Larson, Travis "Gookie" Dawkins, DeWayne Wise etc etc , but those 4 are ones that we actually hosted, pretty neat stuff . Was also cool as I was the main batboy for the team's from the time I was 8-14, and anytime we traveled on the road, which was very frequent during the summer months, I always batboyed for the team; was one of only a few kid's in the entire Midwest League that I ever saw traveling with the team, had his own locker etc, was an awesome way to grow up. Once I grew a bit older, got to where I went in with our player every day when he headed to the ballpark (usually about 2pm, earlier if they went in for early work) and helped out at the field with setting up for BP (batting practice) and also helped with getting the field ready, and then would shag balls with the guys during BP, go in and eat the team meal before the game and then batboy during the game, help shut down the ballpark after the game was over helping, and then head home with our player at like 11pm-12am, or whenever everything was done

And yea, that hand was pretty lol.

      ___________________________________________

Okay so I was planning on getting up at 7am and getting in some good volume before L@P and I headed to town and before the baseball game at 4, but I'm deciding now I'm going to just take the day completely off and relax. Haven't taken a complete day off in about 10 days now, so won't be the worst thing IMO; will be recharged to go hard thursday/friday with sng's and then pwn the weekend MTT grind.

Btw, if anyone is interested in a small sweat on my weekend MTT's, PM me or skype me and we can talk, my 20% i have on a schedule that big is too much

      Gla tomorrow, ship the $s
