out of curiousity why so much hate for hyper satelites, because they start 10bb and not 25bb? or do you have some issues with the payout structure (some do, would love to hear your take on it, if you have one...)

Super/hyper turbos are just a means to an end for me, and it's a super popular format with fish which is even better...just as of right now it gets me the highest hourly, which is all that matters to me. I definitely think I'm a winner at these already with how I'm playing, just working on adjusting and playing differently against different regs now; have most of my default ranges down for every effective M.
And thx, hopefully I'll have some more pics up at some point, I don't have a camera yet but might get one.

Just woke up and not sure if I'm going into town with my roommate or not to Santander, I heard they don't usually convert money to USD's and I kinda wanna get in some decent volume before heading out tonight.

I might try some out some day and see how I like them, I could see them being very profitable hours before the SWU and Mil on sundays and it would maybe be a good idea to play them then....but idk.

If you get the chance stop in the Adelita Bar sometime, good tie in with the vid I'm posting here for ya! The band got its name from that club, epic Mexico trip a few years back, I'll tell you about it in chat sometime
Yeah, naps are like required down there I think, just keep 'em reasonably short - power naps! Get yourself on a schedule that gives you optimal sessions when you are alert, rested and motivated. Make shorter sessions end of your day, and when your natural energy cycle is lowest (like early afternoon etc.)

Unfortunately the club isn't happening tonight as Bolivar woke up sick, Jiacstrip got 8th in the big $55 and has been there the last 2 weeks and decided to take a week off and the Germans disappeared, so it woulda been down to myself and Nick going, so we said F it. Hopefully next week we get to go for sure as I'm looking fwd to it!
Okay so was pretty lazy today but put in 2 good 2 hour study sessions which was great, feeling really confident in my game even though I'm down like 30 bi's atm (which means nothing in this sample).
Tomorrow I'm gonna try to put my 2012 plan into action and go for 5k VPP. An avg day (I hope) will be 5k VPP, take 65 days off and get 1.5 mil. That's my idea anyhow, we'll see how brutal a 5k vpp day is tomorrow I hope!

Solid start to the day, loaded for about 70 mins in each of my first 2 sessions, need to get to where I can play 3+ hour sessions on the reg, not sure wtf happened cuz I used to be able to do that with ease but w/e, have til Jan 1st to figure it out.
Gonna go take a quick walk on the beach to try to clear my head, shower, and then get back at it.

Despite my trollololing, your PGC threads are admittedly compelling reading, and as this game is on Stars you've now made me feel I ought to give them a semi-serious try. Basically I'm sick to death of long sessions for MTTs, and particularly I mean the long sessions where you can't just stop because you still have stuff running. Four short 2-hour sessions would be much more likely to happen than one long 8-hour session, so I'm trying to find a way I can stay playing poker, but with the ability to be able to stop within a few minutes whenever I want, instead of being stuck 1-tabling. And also without having to have a go at getting my head around cash games, which I think are as boring as ****. I tried, and pretty much hated, HUSNGs, and 9mans still can still take ages to finish, so if I can do something with these then they might become my main grind. I'll probably still dabble in MTTs when I feel the urge, but if I can do something with these then I'll be delighted.
Sooo, probably gonna put in a good 1-2k sample of these myself at the bottom level, just to see what happens; nearly through 200 already, though I suspect that even 25% ROI at the 1.50s is still running pretty good. But if all goes well I could definitely see myself moving up and grinding the 7s, with a bit of profit and a bit of rakeback. Though I'd expect that even at the 1.50s the hourly should be better than average wage for a competent 15-tabler.

I'm curious to know how many spots you honestly think that you miss cause of the amount of tables that you play? Or do you think you'd have the same estimated ROI playing 8 tables?
I myself think that 6 is enough, since its frying your brain so fast with all the close decisions. I think all other forms of poker is easier to play for profit, but these damn hypers are addictive and fun for the moment.
