forgot to add this hand. was pretty interesting one imo
river shove is pretty awful by him, am i right?
pretty narrow what you would be bet/calling those amounts on the turn with on that board that would give him enough fold equity for his river shove to be a valid play long term tho right?

everything pre river was relatively standard though wasn't it?

nothing that he did at any point in this hand is even remotely standard imo. he has been around a while and has been a winning player/pro in the past but def not winning at the game in last 12 to 15 months. this is one of those spots where he was just trying to outplay me with a little bit too over the top fancy play syndrome. that being said, he still put me in a pretty tough river spot(kinda, literally 1 hand i cant beat). i was gonna just ship turn so i didnt have to make a riv decision cuz he cant have j7 cuz i gots da blockerz, j3 raises flop so i was good. but if i check ship turn i fold out his bluffs so decided to check snap all rivs. insta called fwiw, i was literally hovering over the call button

havent watched a training vid in about 2 years. watched 10 mins of one about 7 months ago and it was about the deep/ante tables. the "pro" advocated mounting to the left of the reg who was sitting at a bunch of open tables trying to start new games "so we can have an edge on him when the table fills". asfl;kjdsafj;ldf;lasdf;lksdjafkjsadkl

so ****ing ridiculous. any reg who does this is a ****ing douche bag angle shooting no honor mother ****ing douche bag. he was an instructor for a major training site (leggopoker).

i messaged him on here and on his "training" site that he was being scummy.

so basically, there are prob some decent vids out there but i wish there were none and 85% of the "instructors" actually suck and their videos are LOL.

Jd7dJc3h - would you prefer a fold or a 3x raise utg when playing deep?

this is actually one of the spots i think i struggle with still, cause i hate limping when nobody else has entered the pot obv- i would almost certainly over-limp a hand like this, but yeah, how would you proceed pre-flop with a hand like this?
              thanks boss.

It's def a fold or raise bit usually a fold. It's not a hand that flops anything nutty that ur gonna get ur stack in with very often.

yeah the more i think about it, i think im gonna have to do a 180 on what i said earlier, maybe my brain wasn't working at the time, i think over limping this is pretty bad in alot of spots, definitely leaning towards fold in most spots now, long term would figure to be a troublesome hand if you're seeing alot of expensive flops with it esp. vs fairly competent opponents.
