I think about the psychology of this a bit......how you will have lots of people
wave a warning flag, people with no experience egging you on, and then of course
the mandatory hate-hate from your fellow regulars
It's obvious to me that you are at least semi deluded about your results. As far as
I can see, the toughest aspect of poker for most people is variance, and even if
your winrate is sustainable, you cannot deny that it could be affected to a large
degree by your playing abilities during a downswing, your experience with which; you have none (?).
Even though I play larger field sngs it seems hilarious to me to think of anything
in terms of $/game unless it is a semi large sample I am talking about.
Where do you draw the line? If someone asks you what you're making at poker,
would you ever consider quoting your "$/hr" over a time frame of a week? Would
you even consider the volume put in during that time?
"While I haven't run appreciably over ev at all". Easy to take issue with this, ...
how do you quantify your EV for this statement
Sry about mentioning all of this after bf, best of luck in the interview. The door
will fly open for you, the chair will retract of it's own accord.....
I'll be honest, I don't know what you're saying or where you're going with this. Not trying to be a d*ck, I really just don't get it.

Thanks, J ... yeah not on AIM much unless I have a set appt. But def keep in touch - I'll be following your thread as well. The good thing is, you can't switch games too much playing live
I totally dig the live hand results so keep those comin for sure.

No doubt. Thank you, and GL to you too.

Thanks! I done good today, looks like I got the job. Now I just gotta keep it
As far as the $ goes, I do believe it will come back to us. But nothing's 100% , and until it's chilling in my bank account, I think it's best to consider it a sunk cost.
