Wow guys.. the amount of support im receiving is amazing.. Thanks so much . So i figured posting daily graphs until the end would be a good idea. Im new to this so bear with me haha. Ill just mark it as day 1 since the start of the thread.

Classic session of play decent. Run very good. I always seem to struggle towards the midpoint of my sessions. Combine variance with fatigue.. and swings are just gonna happen in a big way.

A couple of fun hands from the session.

3bet this reg the hand right before. Might've been on tilt from something else tho. Doesnt make much sense

Clearly im not much of a redline player. I've tried it multiple times throughout my career but never had much success with it.

Usually 2 sessions. My first session is 5000-6000 hands. Then i take a 30min break and 2nd session 10k hands (depending how im running could be more)

very very congrats on your results
I usually dont work for about an hr until after i wake up. I have to let my brain wake up, so i drink bulletproof coffee (if you dont know what bulletproof coffee is.. i suggest you check it out) And my mind is usually ready to go.

My biggest struggle is towards the middle of my grinds usually during hrs 6-9 where my coffee high goes down and i feel like a zombie.

Mostly database analysis. Ill look up the top regs who i have a good sample on. And look at their ranges and lines they take. And if i dont agree with it.. it usually means because im doing something wrong. I think just small work here and there is really + ev for your longterm.

haha. Shouldve made a prop bet eh? Yea definitely! I have to get all of my hh's from stars. Since i have to purge and delete hands all the time or my 5yr old laptop would explode, is it cool if i just did it towards the end of the challange?

      1. Why not 24 tables? Is 20 the breaking point where your game starts to take a dive?

      2. do you think the 6 max regs are better than the FR regs?

      3. I have heard that the 40bb ss army disappears quite a bit at 200nl compared to 100nl, is this true?

      4. Biggest downswing in terms of buying this year?

      5. Ratio of 6 max vs Full Ring?

      6. How do you deal with all the 40bb ss mass tabling 14h per day, Do you just avoid the prime 40bb hours?
      1. Thats pretty much it man. Im capped at 20tables. I move slow enough as it is. And my play drops drastically just adding a couple more past 20.

      2. Theres a difference between "better" and "tougher" 6max regs are definitely tougher. And that is mostly because of their high 3bets (ill have sessions where 80% of the 1/2 6m reg pool will have over 10% 3bets)
But for the most part i think its just a relative skill. Most 6max guys cant just go to FR and crush, and same the other way. But if you want the most simplistic answer. If a good 6max player played a good fr player hu. Id have my money on the 6max dude.

      3. I dont know who told you that. But its a complete mess at both. More regs are giving up on life and starting to ss as well. Hopefully stars does something about it soon.

      4. I usually dont have huge ds.. mostly just disgusting b/e stretches. If i had to say prob 30-35 bi is my biggest ds on the year.

      5. My ratio is usually 15 6max and 5fr, which also explains why its harder for me to 24 table.

      6. No i just deal with them. I just try to not have one on my direct left so i can at least open the ranges i want to.

I grew up in less than stellar conditions. My dad worked 2 jobs to make ends meet for a long time. So now that im at a point in my life where i can contribute to letting my pops and mom relax, and thank them for all their hard work. Its really easy to find the motivation to grind like this.

gl gl and see you at the tables.
Well i usually take 3months off a year. (not planned, im just stupid like that)
Between travelling to dif places, having friends from home visit, and taking a day off here and there, you dont even realize how much time you lose.

As of now i usually have an hr or so to chill before i start my session. About 30mins after my first session. and around 2+ hrs before bed. The rest of the time is lost starting tables, etc.

Yes i have. Ive gone to a few seminars. Tbh im not sure what i think of it. In my opinion if you already have the drive and dedication you wont need it. But if you are struggling to push yourself, then i definitely recommend looking for outward sources to do that.

what was your biggest aha moment(s) ?

I think my biggest aha moment was realizing (at least for myself) that preflop is overrated. Id much rather flat more hands and play flops where ranges are wider. I think as a default every reg plays preflop 100x better than they did in 2008, but post they still make routine mistakes that will make you more money.

      +1 question on daily routine
I wake up a 4:45pm. Hit snooze until 5:45, eat breakfast (chicken curry tv dinner) drink my coffee, browse reddit, 2+2, liquidpoker for 20mins or so. then load up tables.
After my first 5-6k hands i close stars, stretch out my shoulder and neck (very important to do, I have a terrible chair so ive suffered from a few short term medical problems already due to bad posture ) eat an apple, more coffee. then knock out my last 10k hands straight.

Then the last 2hrs either browse Twitch for a lil bit, or watch a new training site video if i like the instructor. Now most of my time will be spent on this thread. Which i like quite a bit more

What a hero you are sir. Subbed.

Graph in bbs/bb100? About 3 or something? That volume is intense.

How often do tables break? Do you search for good tables or just play what you have until they break constantly adding waitlists and have some program that declines new seats when you are on 20 tables?

Last month my bb/100 was around 3.5, this month its around 4.3. I never paid much attention to bb/100 so im not sure if thats avg / good / bad. Id assume most regs have winrates like this or higher. They just dont log in the volume (lazy :P )

I use table ninja to decline seats over 20 tables, Tables usually break when the fish busts. Or if its 3handed ill usually just leave myself because i cant play shorthanded while 20tabling. And i use an auto waitlister. No seat scripts though, not because i dont want to use it. My computer just isnt fast enough to consider running a program like that.

I know there's already a PG&C named 'In this thread i make you feel lazy' but i feel like this one is much more suited to the cause.

Sick that you can play that volume allday errday and have those results.

Do you listen to something while grinding?
      10-28-2013 , 03:22 PM
may i ask why you wake up at 5pm?!

pretty sick that you only have like 3 hours outside of the grind to do other stuff, don't think i could ever do that myself! gl
