Running well the day before Thanksgiving and I am thankful. AATT2ds 3! pot spr sub 1 x/c two jams 964r turn 6 river A. Beat 99. Also held with top set against two u known hands. Had a rough start with AJT84ds flopping wrap fd against stubborn top pair and double gutter and lost. Also lost but sttaight nfd sfd to middle set. All good though, waiting to order a grilled cheese and bacon before calling it a quits soon.

Llorton claimed I was creating fake reviews in my book thread which is a total riot, I ask people to post reviews and they donÂ’t all have established 2p2 accounts so there are a lot of new users posting. ItÂ’s unfortunate how in the poker world (and outside) all the scumbags and scammers out there make it harder for the honest people to do well.

Thanksgiving was really nice with family and friends. Got home for rowing and massage and playing now. Low key night here I like it this way. Not super busy and loud and crowded.

Lost top two gutter two bdfd to top set and turned mid set to slowplayed top set, also lost second nut straight to nut sttaight with two straight blockers exposed preflop. Some quasi setup hands.

Left for hold ‘em where I got a double AKo and took it down pre with JJ to reduce the losses some.

Got invited to big game but the game started earlier than I was able to wake up so I had to decline unfortunately. I can often get a seat later in the day as well after something opens up, the organizers have taken a liking to me. Went to bed earlier expecting to be up for the big game but I couldn’t fall asleep. At least I woke up with the light still outside, it’s getting dark so early these days.

Running ok today, very calm and relaxed. Good coaching session, he wants to book more sessions. Feel like I am contributing by teaching.

MGM winter time:

Got to play at an action 1/2 table, got a quick double with AAKT9 in 4! pot, also somehow held with KKTT4 J65cc not my suit at low spr in 4! pot. Aggro 100% raise and 3! short stack was making the game more like 1/2/5/200, giving me some good opportunities to build some big pots with good hands. Lost A8754ds to K high disconnected garbage against another action player and a seat opened up at 10/10 which I took. Finally started running better at the flips to pay time and good timing too because they were $300 a dealer change last night. Won a couple of those and won a decent pot with KK on K8284 and called it a night as soon as I was too tired to play. Stayed up a little later than normal. Having a strong month finally!

A- for table presence. I cursed my luck to get scooped on two run outs with AA843cc on A53cc against the naked wheel but that was all. Jazz music with lattes now then rowing and massage and grind.

Played 10/10 ran bad AKK didn’t hold twice, KKT88 lost at very low BB to AA and A high rundown. Decided to quit and not get too buried at the end of a good month.

Someone advised me not to leave my bag on my chair because his was stolen. Now I keep it in my lap.

Been getting some nice gestures lately, old friend back in town said I deserved to rungood. Another guy at 10/10 said I was a good guy. Feel like my efforts to improve my table presence are paying off Â…! Now at 10/25 hold em with stand up game on.

Had wild dream I was in a crab walk race competition around a casino floor, Ru Paul was present sitting down at a table with her entourage, then my poker friend showed up in ski goggles to play. lol!

Was card dead at 10/25 except a whiffed AKo. Also lost stand up which isn’t a surprise given that I play tight and I got a bunch of trash hands.

My goal for the rest of the year was to make 20k a month which I actually did last month so I’m happy about that.

Someone in the poker room who started playing plo not long ago said I was his idol…reminds me of when I first started playing and I had players I looked up to as well.

I’m waking up later than I would like again (surprise), but it gets dark so early anyway and it was overcast today so I didn’t miss any sun really.

Started running well at 5/5 KKT87ds won in a 4! pot, but then lost second nut straight on river to nut straight against table action and set to his turned straight. Lost a little more in a crummy 1/2 plo game after 5/5 broke and decided to grind 2/5/10 as this dude I don’t like slowrolled me and I didn’t want to play at his table anymore and the game wasn’t even good.

Continuing to push the overnight session to the extreme. Will probably just plow through and reset my schedule again so I wake up during daylight hours.

Lost a couple big pots mid set non nut open ender just mucked versus super postflop nit and 76543 4! pot bottom pair bdsd fd spr 2. Close one probably should have gambled. Feel like I am picking my spots well enough.

Went on a little heater at the end of the session winning 65432ds on 866cc to two hands that jammed flop. Also won AJ854ds on JJ2 to ?? (AA?). Gambled with J9765ds against a bunch of A high hands and lost that one and shortly after called it a session.

Woke up late but thankfully got a full nightÂ’s sleep. HavenÂ’t really had many sleeping issues at all for a long time now which IÂ’m really thankful for.

Swiping on tinder now and messaging my matchesÂ…this usually goes nowhere. Lattes music and then rowing and massage. Hopefully some decent plo games running this time of night but itÂ’s a Monday so it could be pretty slow. If I can finish the year with a $30,000 month that would be awesome.

So far sorta a slow session with some ups and downs…KKT88ds lost in 5! pot to A9742 was the biggest loss. Grinding on, in good spirits in a good game at least.

Nah I kept losing unfortunately. Changed tables. It was all nits and the one whale. Not a great game.

Played until I got too tired, didn’t get unstuck at all really. Lost ds KK on 944 spr .5 to 4x. Made a loose call there. Also lost KQQ76ds to TT9…flopped top set turned straight and fd but he rivered off suit better straight. Also lost a ds AA 4! pot to Q rundown. Lost QJJT7 J87r both my bdfd to two T9s all in on the flop…super frustrating big one to lose. I had half the equity. Also lost nut wrap nfd to probably set of kings…river was straight but brought front door flush I didn’t have and he jammed, close spot I needed to be good 25%. Not my day to say the least.

Now lattes music and rowing and massage before seeing what games are running at this ungodly hour.

Running meh, lost with top set in 4! pot to wheel, lost set and nfd to two straights ott, otherwise pretty uneventful. Sorta bored to keep losing these bigger pots every session.

Made a comeback at the end with TT against a maniac 3! and then AAK33ds and AKQ43ds at 1/2/15. Exhausted gonna get my Chinese to go and snooze and wake up with the sun.

Been making some loose postflop calls recently against action players, leveling myself because they are so bad. Like nut flush on paired board or second nut straight. Hands I would have folded in a heartbeat in the past. People just usually have it at low stakes plo. Also need to work on my river calls with good but non nutted hands. I tend to over fold a little in these spots when I should be calling. Last night I did with second nut flush against someone who I know uses the naked A at a high frequency.

Woke up in the morning, schedule is officially reset again. Nice to be up during the day with the usual downside being inferior game quality.

Enjoying caramel lattes with oat milk mixed with whole milk. Going to toe push ups and massage and try to get into a game. I’ve gotten some outreach from former clients and colleagues. Sorta miss contributing to society a year plus into just doing poker.

Early morning 10/10 ran overnight and I played for a little lost dsAA to JTT85 twice and A6554ss to AKK heads up on KQ5dd at a low spr I decided not to get any more stuck and left for 1/2 plo.

Lost AK875ds in 3! Pot KQ7cc my low fd spr 1, made some back at 10/10 again and then the game broke. Grinding on. I feel like lately I’ve been getting it in too light after the flop. Some close spots and I usually go with them.

Playing well, got a sf blocker bluff through but lost two pair nfd gutter but won a lot of other pots. Gonna wrap up soon and book the win getting tired even though game is good.

Booked a solid win, winning a little this month again, nice to have that winning energy back on my side for a few weeks now. Get to see the sun rise this morning. Woke up a little earlier than I expected.

Enjoying lattes music and swiping (mostly left), will see how much energy I have for workout and massage later.

Wondering what else I need to be doing to increase or maintain my happiness and life progress at this point. I feel like I’m pretty set for a while now given my age and personal situation and it’s just a matter of what I want to do with my time. I guess I’ve made it in poker at least. Have had a fulfilling legal career. Overcame my mental illness. I’m only 37, not sure what is next. Just more poker? I scrolled through job listings online and the pay is lower than poker and it’s not in fields I am interested in….

Tonight bball star was in town and played 10/10 plo. Action player in the game made a “rough play,” promoting a negative comment from the baller which the action player didn’t like. They have a squabble. Action player says he doesn’t want to play as long as bball star was in game. Table is aghast. funny part is that the action player didn’t know at the time who the VIP was and stormed off the table. :O

So update on the story is actually VIP made a joke “where is seat six?” (action player was locked up and winning), and action went all in and lost after that comment and out of frustration told the baller “enough!” And then stormed away after pressuring the game organizer to choose between him and the VIP. Omg! (But he really didn’t know who the VIP was.)
