So recently I withdrew all of my money on Carbon and decided I wasn't going to deposit any more for a while. I had over 1100 VIP points and decided to reg an $11 MTT with them. I mincashed the MTT for around $22.

I played a few SNG's and MTT's with my $22, cashed a few, shipped an $11 ticket satellite, and then promptly lost the rest of my roll.

Earlier today, I used my final hope, the $11 ticket I had won and regged another MTT. I made the final table and busted 7th for $41. I then played a few SNG's and MTT's, cashing a little here and there and mainly breaking even. To end my night tonight I played an $11 ticket satellite and shipped it.


As of right now, my account sits at $42.99. My goal is to turn that into $1,000 by March 31, 11:59 pm EST. I also made a small sidebet for lulz with my friend, (VantACoo-key? on 2p2). If I hit my goal, we will play a live MTT or cash session together and he will wear some sort of silly hat/outfit. If I do not hit my goal, I will be the one wearing the silly hat/outfit.

In order to reach this goal, my friend and I are allowing me to play:

• MTT's (including freerolls)
• SNG's (Single table, multi-table, or HU)
• Satellites (MTT, SNG or freerolls)
• Cash Games

I am not allowed to use the following methods to reach my goal:

• Blackjack or any other casino games
• Deposit
• Sports betting

My progress can be tracked online, but to make it easier I will be posting a screenshot of my real money ledger in this thread at the end of every day that I play to show how I have been winning or losing my money. Unless someone can think of an easier way because the ledger is sort of an eyeful to read.


I do not intend on using sound bankroll management to reach this goal, at least not at first.

Some worthy notes to be made about my future tournament plans:

• I have one $11 ticket currently in my possesion that I intend on using when I deem necessary
• I am currently regged for multiple promotional freerolls offered by Carbon, which will count toward the goal if any profit is made
• Regged for the Sunday Big Ticket freeroll (Top 50 receive $215 tickets) 2/23/13
• Regged for the Free Seats to Poker Maximus freeroll (Top 100 receive $109 tickets) 2/23/13
• Regged for the 10k VIP freeroll (Top 500 receive tickets ranging from $2.20 to $530 depending on the place you finish) 2/23/13
• Regged for the 10k VIP freeroll (Top 307 earn anywhere between $6.30 and $1,653 depending on where they finish) 2/24/13

First day did not go great. Ran horrible in tourneys and about broke even in HU SNG's. After a couple small unsuccesful shots at higher buy in tourneys, I was down to $20.


I played one more tournament to end the day and thanks to a runner up finish in a 2-7 TD tourney, I ended up only down $5 on the day.

Well this was bound to happen with my aggressive bankroll management. Pinning my hopes on the freeroll today since I've already used my $11 ticket.

Hit major card death toward the end of the freeroll. Managed a top 90 finish good for $18.

What a day! After cashing in a couple $1 Double or Nothing SNG's, shipping a $1 18 man SNG, and shipping a 2-7 TD MTT, I go from near broke this morning to being above my starting bankroll. The 2-7 win was especially unlikely considering I had half a big bet at one point five-handed.




Let's try not to go busto again. I doubt I have enough rungood in me to overcome it twice.

With that roll grind out stuff that is profitable and has low risk of ruin. Then gamble it up

Take it easy early on and conserve your bankroll until you get to $150-$200 then you can take more aggressive and better shots. GL!

1 tabled a short session of 10NL due to there being a huge fish at the table. Will probably stick to 4NL until my roll is a little bit bigger but this was too good to pass up.

Lost a few dollar's in SNG's but made money at 10NL. Probably done for the night as I have a group project for one of my classes due tomorrow.
