Hi guys. Over the next months, I am challenging myself to a $0 (yes $0) - $100,000 poker challenge. I have it worked out, there’s twists once we reach a certain bankroll, and i’ll be streaming whenever I play. I’m not here for marketing, I just wanted to share with you guys on the off chance anyone is interested.

There is a long wa to go, but it doesnÂ’t seem to bad at all. The first plan - get a bankroll. $100 is fine. Liquidate sign up offers and get something in the roll - just something. I back myself to spin it up, punishing the low stakes tourney field. I’ll update with day 1 later today....

Love, Dan xxx

Day 1: (March 13th 2024) >>> PROFIT : +$35

We’re ready. Plans are made. Numbers have been run. I start this monster challenge with 1 thing on my mind “please run good at the start so i’m not stuck at low stakes forever”. 1st day nerves were there mainly because I have never streamed. Hard to **** up when there’s barely anyone watching.

And I did **** up, briefly, but the actual challenge started off flying. Who cares now, i’ve got my first $15 through. The plan is, going from $0, making the most of sign up offers right the way through to the mid - high stakes, where i’ve crushed for some years now, except there’s some little twists as the challenge progresses to get to $100k faster.

My biggest worry has always been : Liquidating the sign up offers and getting to $100. Once I know I don’t have to worry about rebuys, and I can play $2 tourneys + as my abi, i’m confident. I was not confident however at my ability to not go broke, from $0 .

So the first day, I got an all in or fold win on GG (which I have never played before), which let me play cash, and start to liquidate the free bonuses from GG and 888. I ended up with a $35 profit, and, to be honest, it was the best $35 I've ever earnt. Some slight relief. On to tomorrow - it can be done!!!

DAY 2: Profit $ 125

Huge day. My prayers were answered. Right out the gate I get some cash donations (players jamming 100bbs with 93s etc), and I win a $2 tourney for $45 😍. Big start. GET ME OUT OF THESE MICRO - MICRO stakes!!!

I just want to not have to worry about $1 buy ins, haha. Still some work to go for that luxary though. The first part of my session was good, but the difference is I came back for more. Maybe it's my desparation to get 10-12 tables on the screen, which is easier said than done with no bankroll.

BUT, now I could now move some money around. My bankroll allowed me to have a Stars account, and a Skybet account, neither of which I could get sign up bonus offers for, but which have tasty micro stakes on offer 🤩. So, the 2nd session came, and it went well. 3rd in a big $1 mystery bounty tourney for $30 (ish), and importantly, some delicious SnG wins (18 man, or SKYBET double or nothing). That puts me UP.

We are storming past the $100 mark. We'll take a run good. Prices are up in the micro stakes boys, but hopefully not for long 😅

Love, Dan xxx

p.s Thank you to you guys following ❤️. Speak soon 🙂

Day 3 (or day 2.5)
The reason I say day 2.5 is I didn't actually launch a session to almost double my bankroll 😍. I did play lots of mini sessions, mainly because it's hard to find games with $100 bankroll. So I've been using the free sign up offers on various sites - 30 mins per day for 3 days. AND .... I got my wish answered: Run good in the micro micros.

The reason has been mainly the GG sign up bonuses. They introduce me to games I never play. Woah wtf - almost caught myself promoting GG there. The dark side is strong. Still though, All in and Folds have been a nice addition to my bankroll. I'll never say that again, haha.

Of the $60 free sign up bonus, i'm at the end, and have liquidated 100% + of it. Also, some small sit and gos, especially double or nothings on Skypoker have been important. Winnings are in pounds. Bonus. Stars has SnGs, 888 has the tourneys to play <$2, GG has it's offers, and Skypoker has, well, bad bots (A.I) and noobs. The dream set up.

This feels like a nothing post. I'm not reporting on a session, just a series of sessions. However, they have been a game changer to get me able to play $2 tourneys. Imagine that. It's time to hit the micro stakes tourneys hard.

Updates of my actual sessions coming soon. Have a great week.

Love Dan xxx

UPDATE: Day 4 >>> Sorry to let the momentum die slightly. The challenge has been going strong xox A backlog of updates to come though x

Day 4 we hit the tournamnet schedule hard. Playing huge volume, and hitting the highest level of my career feels amazing - the games looks different now, and I wish I could l play myself from 2 years ago. I've spent the last 18 months creating 3 + FULL poker courses for my coaching platform (Breakfree Poker) . It's weird that just re-enforcing my own knowledge has led me to new hights in playing ability.

But, it's the low stakes boys that feeeeeel the wrath of my very aggressive, but present poker. Another $100 ish on the banroll takes me to $310. Delicious. GG cash games keep the bankroll stable, and tourneys create chances for my bankroll to up. That's the plan.

I must admit, even the best in the world (which I am far from) has to get lucky to spin up the bankroll I have, or grind out some pretty low stakes for a while. The difference is we're taking half chances, and playing the $2 nosebleeds like my life is on the line. That's may be because it reminds me of when I first started playing - the closest I came to being broke haha. Fight or flight has kicked in.

I never player $2 tourneys even at the start (maybe I should have), but dancing with a bankroll that can go broke - oooohhhh that takes me back.

More updates coming soon, love Dan.
