Thanks for answering, Ribbo.

In general, our goal is not to poach players with monetary incentives - i.e. if you don't want to actively use our content & services, you should not sign up through us, but directly through the poker room as they deserve it.

But we also don't want players who sign up through us to have a disadvantage over other players on the monetary side - which is why we offer the max. legal rakeback and competitive races on all rooms where they are allowed.

We would prefer a situation where monetary incentives would be centralised, so players don't have to look out for affiliates to get "the best deal" - but could go straight to the room itself. The upside of this is that affiliates would start concentrating on getting genuine new players or by adding values, content and services outside of just giving rakeback.

But I'm a little off-topic now..

A lot of sites offer promotions or rewards that require less rake to be paid.

Training sites, for example, would offer free videos for people that rake a certain amount each month (some less than you, some more, some with better content than you, some with worse).

If you're talking about the sites that give you a free gift, fair enough. But you're among the better deals, not the best.

Not sure someone promoting a rival site should be commenting on PokerStrategy's product tbh. Bad etiquette.

They're just envious that we offer...
- videos & other content in 18 languages
- $50 no deposit for beginners
- rakeback
- rake races

@DivineLuckBox:
Salary for coaches depends on a variety of things, including gametype, limit, skill, quality as a coach etc.pp.
But we're for sure competitive with the big american sites in terms of salary.

No, I believe your statement was not correct.

You said:

This is incorrect.

Like your competitors in the thread about poker ecology pointed out their views on things that are probably less clear to the populace, I am pointing something out here.

And honestly, if I wasn't involved in the business I likely would not have much of an idea that the statement were not correct.

You certainly offer many things that are good from what I can tell. I'm not here to bash your product by any stretch or even say there is a single issue with it. I just wanted to point out that the statement was not accurate.
