Our Promotions Policy

1. No direct or indirect Cost for Players

PokerStrategy.com wants to be a free offer towards players. This includes being free from any direct cost - but also from indirect cost.

This means that while PokerStrategy.com focuses on investing into educating our players and popularising poker in new markets, we want to prevent that any player that decides to open up his account through PokerStrategy.com has a monetary disadvantage from that.

The result: we always try to meet the best avaliable offer the poker room allows to players.

This includes flat rakeback like the 27% at Full Tilt Poker, VIP offers and - if the poker room allows them - competitive rake races.

2. Our Ethics

We think that every player at a poker room should get the same conditions - no matter whether he signed up directly because of a TV ad or through any affiliate.

This is not just fair and the right thing to do - it also makes sure that there are no skewed incentives for affiliates to abuse market flaws. For more information regarding this issue, please see our thread on poker ecology.

As currently, many poker rooms allow affiliate-based monetary incentives, we also have our own exclusive offers such as competitive rake races. We do this to keep up to our creed towards the player (free of direct or indirect cost) - and explicitly not to poach any player to play through us just for this reason.
