Thats obv not a smart idea, everybody on the internet knows Matt Damon is amazing at poker, as seen by the youtube video labeled "Matt Damon sucks at poker"

Why would you play at that venue anyway? Who gets into the Russian mob for anything more than a Coke? Bad judgement Sungar if you're giving us updates in that game. You're clearly not ready for this.

FWIW, the fact that you currently still have a job isn't good enough reason to continue taking ridic shots if you're only making $20ish/hour on your current salary -- that money still means a lot to you.

re: Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

Had my first losing session in PLO since last month, played terrible, ran terrible, and lost focus.

Accidentally raised to 500 instead of calling for 100 when I grabbed the wrong stack of chips and got shoved on and had to call off the rest for pot odds reasons, so I lost 1200 instead of 100 because I'd have folded the turn card

At the end of the, session I quaded up on a flipped middle set so the rungood continues

Was down 5k before the hand but ended up at -230

So sick

My year to date at 1/2 is $67.73/hr. I'm not entirely sure how math works, but I think that hashes out to ~135k/yr. If I start running good I might actually be able to make a good living off this.

Obviously he is running way above EV. Do you really think $67 an hour is a sustainable win rate at 1/2?

Ya running good obviously. mostly in a holding up kind of way. I haven't been sucking out on anyone or anything. A lot of my profits are through FE so running good for me is often just not running into the top of ranges. It'll come down. It always does. It's made my bankroll restart a hell of a lot easier though.

re: Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

My first official week of recreational, casino live cash gaming, on 50p / £1 full ring. Considering my stats for the week, how would this be rated?

Apparently, I've started out at a bit of a grind, to get a feel of the game, with sub-100bb buy-ins, out of a possible 200 buy-in max to stay within my BRM, but I'm getting there. A chunk of the session is from being card dead, and randomly choosing my hands, against the low-stakes aggressive sharks.

Good work! Your stats are completely meaningless at this point. Just keep at it.

What DC means by that is that you just don't have enough of a sample size to draw any real conclusions. Still, you've started out strong, which helps a lot. It gives you a cushion for when the hard times come. Starting in the hole really sucks.

Understood. Keep in mind, I was stuck around £100-150 in the middle of two sessions, before finishing in the green. This was mainly from bleeding out on cracked premium hands, and sick variance. Perhaps, I have a few leaks to mend, as well. Otherwise, my overall net would've been closer to £900. Still though, a decent turnout.

Everyone has leaks to mend. There are players that have been crushing the game for years that continue to learn and improve. Considering you are in the first week of playing, you aren't nearly as good as you think you are...not yet.

Honestly I should just get one of those fancy shmancy apps but yeah I probably wouldn't post if I lost because I'd be too pissed

I like writing and reading about poker helps my game out a ton, I'm actually writing for myself to keep it real

What is the best phone app for recording sessions and tracking
