Can't remember the last time I've seen a 2/5 NL game run (think I saw it 2 or 3 times last year?), it's pretty much 1/3 NL only in my room.

GG's wife just sets him up in the den with a table and a deck of cards every Sunday and he "wins" almost every time.

I always attempt to limp/reraise myself but then get MUBSy and don't follow thru.

I've always wanted to see other winning players' books, specifically at the 1/3 level. Very curious to see how my results compare. Anyone ever seen someone else's books? I mean actual session logs, not just overall volume/hourly/etc. Did you learn anything? Has anyone ever actually posted it anywhere?
I can send you my session results for 1/3 though it might not be the best representation of an 'average' 1/3 game in the US.

Would also like a copy if you can.

What do you mean by not 'average' US game?

I have started to play more regularily in local rooms this year, games are mainly the equivalent of 1/1 or 2/2. Im up ~800$ so far in around 20 hours since new year! Datsamplesize!

Do you guys just keep track of what your roll is but have it in the bank with the rest of your money? I just have the cash lying around right now.

I have the lions share in a 1% savings account and about 5-10% in the market

I typically keep 10 BI in cash hidden in the house. When that increases to ~13 BI, I put the excess in the bank; when it decreases to ~7, I top up from the bank.

re: Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

Curious thought,

Let's assume the standard rule of thumb BR for a stake is 30bi

Let's now assume player is playing in a game that is frequently MS straddled for 2-4x the BB.

How much should standard rule of thumb BR requirements increase

That sounds like a terrible game. MS straddle, especially when you can go to more than 2x, makes the game play very shallow and thus tight. I would find another place to play or try to convince the table to ditch the straddle so you can actually play poker.

re: Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

I recently put out a podcast on BRM I think a lot of you guys would find helpful in regards to moving up stakes/how many buyins to play x stake. A lot of what I talked about in the podcast was based on things I consider misconceptions that I've read in here. Check twitter for info.
