I'm down 200 so far this year after 50 hours. It's been very swingy, but I realized I have a lot of massive leaks that were masked by positive variance.

I have all but stopped playing 1-2 in the last month. I'll only head there now if the action is lacking at 1-3, but it usually isn't.

re: Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

So here's the thing. Live players never fold 100bbs deep. Ever. so for the next hundred hours. Im not bluffing **** or taking any thin lines. Purely betting for value. I told a buddy if mine Id pay him 100 if I do anything remotely bluffy for the next hundred hours. Not bluffin is probably going to be my standard in 100bb games

Here's to hoping, an I will post updates ITT cause this is the winrate thread amirite? Ill prolly do it for the next 300hrs tbh

$2/5: 27 hours, +$1,010

If you subtract my large win last night I was -$1300 to start the year.

Last year I was +13.2k over 440 hours $30.50 an hour at $1/2.
Congrats but those are some ugly ass $5 chips

+1. Maybe 1 C bet on a HU flop board but that's it.

Same thing happened to me last night. I triple barreled my AQc on a K 10c 5c board, and couldn't pick up an A, J, or club on either street, and got called down by K9 EVERY street. If only I had AK and played it the same way... zero fold equity and not hitting my huge draw meant losing money on river.

This is why you should never feel good about your results. Since I posted in this thread I immediately started a downswing and I played these three big hands last night in 9 hour session ...

Hero dealt AK on the BTN and 3bets pre. Lots of callers.

Flop: 1098

One of the villains open shoves with 57 and I call of course.

River: J giving him the 2-outer for SF.

---

Short time later ...

Hero dealt AK in the SB and raises limpers to $17.
Several callers.

Flop: KK3
Hero bets 2/3 pot. BB just flatted with AA's preflop 3b ships on me (??).
Everyone else folds of course I snap call.

Board runs out runner runner 's and Villain has A for a flush.

---

Final hand of the night I have just under $100 left.
There is a straddle and a caller.

Hero dealt JJ's and ships it. Both villains call with 87o and T8o.

Both have an 8 and the flop comes 8 8 4.

---

So I went back and calculated the odds of losing these three hands consecutively like this and it turns out the odds are 1.8 in 1,000 what a nice session.

In the last week I've had 77's vs. 22's and the flop come 7 2 2 and thought that was the worst of the worst but you never stop learning that you can always run worse, and worse, and worse.

Oh yeah, BBV thataway ...

But the moral of the story is NEVER POST IN THIS F'ING THREAD

Goin' supernit eh?

I've found bluffing to be fairly profitable in my 1-3 games (uncapped buy-ins!). But only when I'm on my A-game, especially with regards to hand reading. I just need to remember that once I get hero called and have to show the bluff (or muck thereby announcing that I was bluffing), half the table targets me and I should probably lay off for a few orbits. Always forget that...

Then again, I've also gone on monkey tilt after a double barrel failed when a triple would have sufficed... so maybe I just need to bluff more thoroughly .

Also, bluffing while playing with under 100bb is dumb. Versus 75-100bb, maybe. Versus 50bb or less, never.

I'm not criticizing. I buy-in for 67bb and play super-nit until I'm over 100bb, then I open my game up if the table calls for it.

If you do what you think is max ev then why say "I'm not going to bluff in the next 100 hours"? Granted bluffing frequently at llsnl is doomed for disaster, but there are definitely spots where bluffing is going to maximize our ev.
There is a fine line between having a +ev bluff and spewing

Nah I that doesnt count. Just like plays that I do solely for FE count. In also HAVE to stop bluff catching without TPGK. Prolly stop bluff catching period. Oh and fold to turn c/r regardless of how agg a player is
