Sorry I'm new at this but this is the best I could do for graphing for now. 6386hrs

I use pokerdominator results recording, not the best I'm sure. Hours are about 30% @1/2, 50% @ 1/3, 20% @2/5

Would advise you to have a 2 buyin ($400) max loss per session tho and stick to it

I mean this seriously, How do you get any volume in with such a small stop loss? I get stuck 200bb fairly regularly in sessions (I'm also a super lag who has crazy variance)

there are places where you don't have a choice. I have a 900 hour sample size of 1/2 $300max over the last year simply because no other game existed in the room

What are we calling significant hours? 2k+? Pretty sure all live win rate graphs are in general a run good contest

Our difference is prob our styles of play. I have to quit due to stop loss only once every month or two so it really doesn't affect my volume.

Try this(over an extended number of sessions): Play your normal way w/o a stop loss, but everytime you get down 200BB make a note of the amount and time on your phone. Continue your normal session and calculate your winrate numbers at the end of your session from the point of your being down 200BB to the end. If your numbers are poor you prob need a stop loss.

Your numbers don't have to be negative. They just need to be "poor" relative to your usual. So (just pulling numbers out of my ass) if your normal win rate is 6BB/hr but after you're down 200BB your winrate is 2BB/hr you need a stoploss.

Another type of stop loss I use is if I'm down after 4 hrs play, I quit. I kept track of my numbers for a long time and it was very striking how I almost never "came back" if I played longer than this.

Experiment and find your own levels of time/amounts

I have a real job. Poker is a fun side thing for me, I'm not playing to make a living. The 2/5 at Red Rock usually sucks and there's only 0 or 1 game going on most days. The 1/2 on the other hand is the best 1/2 game in town IMO, and I have all of the regs ranges in all sorts of spots down pretty well, they don't know how to adjust a damn thing. Driving to the strip and back after working all day feels like a lot of work. Believe what you want yo, I am in fact a real person.

Over how long of a period was this? That is crazy.

Apparently 800 hours. It seems far fetched that this could be done at 1-2 unless he is playing in an uncapped home game.

Las Vegas 1-2? Seems reallllllllly hard to believe. Although I think Vegas 1-3 is possible for a solid $40 an hour if playing in the deep stack games or during the WSOP.

If this is true (which I'm not a hater and think that anything is possible with enough skill and the right game conditions), then I must concede that Donkey Copter is one of the best NL poker players in the world

About half the hours are Vegas 1/2 and 1/3 (mostly 1/3) and the other half is non-Vegas 1/3 that plays a little deeper than normal, average stacks around $500 with $15-18 opens.
