So sick

My year to date at 1/2 is $67.73/hr. I'm not entirely sure how math works, but I think that hashes out to ~135k/yr. If I start running good I might actually be able to make a good living off this.

Obviously he is running way above EV. Do you really think $67 an hour is a sustainable win rate at 1/2?

Ya running good obviously. mostly in a holding up kind of way. I haven't been sucking out on anyone or anything. A lot of my profits are through FE so running good for me is often just not running into the top of ranges. It'll come down. It always does. It's made my bankroll restart a hell of a lot easier though.

My first official week of recreational, casino live cash gaming, on 50p / Ł1 full ring. Considering my stats for the week, how would this be rated?

Apparently, I've started out at a bit of a grind, to get a feel of the game, with sub-100bb buy-ins, out of a possible 200 buy-in max to stay within my BRM, but I'm getting there. A chunk of the session is from being card dead, and randomly choosing my hands, against the low-stakes aggressive sharks.

Good work! Your stats are completely meaningless at this point. Just keep at it.

Also agree, IMA go make a blog instead please. You can talk about all your sick PLO strat there (and offer coaching while you're at it)

What DC means by that is that you just don't have enough of a sample size to draw any real conclusions. Still, you've started out strong, which helps a lot. It gives you a cushion for when the hard times come. Starting in the hole really sucks.

Understood. Keep in mind, I was stuck around Ł100-150 in the middle of two sessions, before finishing in the green. This was mainly from bleeding out on cracked premium hands, and sick variance. Perhaps, I have a few leaks to mend, as well. Otherwise, my overall net would've been closer to Ł900. Still though, a decent turnout.

Everyone has leaks to mend. There are players that have been crushing the game for years that continue to learn and improve. Considering you are in the first week of playing, you aren't nearly as good as you think you are...not yet.

Honestly I should just get one of those fancy shmancy apps but yeah I probably wouldn't post if I lost because I'd be too pissed

I like writing and reading about poker helps my game out a ton, I'm actually writing for myself to keep it real

What is the best phone app for recording sessions and tracking

Of course, there are many aspects of my game I need to iron out. I've been playing in poker leagues, qualified in regionals tournaments every season. Yet, cash games are a different beast, altogether.

Oh hey, he posted an actual question relevant to the thread.

The best app for android is likely "poker income", it cost like $7 or something, but you can record 10 sessions for free so you get to try it before you pay to unlock the entire thing

Did not know it had a droid version. Apple version is $5 plus if you want some extra features. Most importantly data easily imported and exported.

Is 500 hours a legitimate sample size to determine whether you are beating the game you are playing.
