Doesn't really matter edge wise. You're going to lose wither way. Betting less for longer time might give you more enjoyment, and more comps.

The EV of the bets is the same but if you place more bets you will likely get more credits for comps.

EV is the same, all negative.

Increased volume decreases variance, so obviously play is to make the smallest bet you can over and over until the money is gone. Winrates, bankrolls, and finances

Sitting on a whole 4BI of poker money

Never fails that when I pull some out for a life expense I get doom-switched and drop another $2k. May have to convert that withdraw to a loan. Bah.
I find playing J3s fixes that.

Simple question from me....what are people's (no nonsense) win rates at 1/3, 2/5, and 5/10? Only looking for reponses from people who play professionally to semi-professionally.

Thanks

******* I should've gotten a beer out of that one.

If I based my play on what I've observed from my recent results I'd be calling all-ins with marginal FD's on the turn, or A4o preflop, or with a single out OTF. So maybe J3s is a monster

You'll be hard pressed to find actual pros playing 1/3. If they're good enough to be pros they're playing higher.

I played semi pro 1/2 (300cap) for a very brief time. My lifetime winrate is ~$25/hr but I suspect that would drop a little if I was forced to play non peak and when I didn't really feel like it.

im not going to filter out all of my stats but over the last 2.5 years i've averaged about $18/hr across all stakes which would be broken down to something like 66% 1/2-1/3 32% 2/5 and 2% 5/T

I made 50K at 2/5 in the first five months of the year. I don't know what my avg per hour was but if I had to guess it was about 80/hour. Maybe more since I had another job at the time that took a lot of my time.

Since switching over to PLO I've made 18K in the past month, which translates to about 180/hour but I don't know if that's sustainable

IMA has been hardcore trolling the HSPLO forums. Glad to know he isn't afraid to troll here as well.

How does this work, are you taking a weighted average by time?

While both of these are believable (from my own experience) don't believe them.

For everyone curious about true, achievable, long term win rates:

When guys tell you their WR and its <10bb, believe them. When long term withered grinders tell you 10bb is achievable, believe them. When sicko long term grinders tell you 12bb/hr is possible, believe them.

For all stakes.

Everyone else is kidding themselves. Or on short term heaters. Or trolling a poker forum bc it's on their bucket list.

I'm sitting at $23.45 (7.82 bb/hr) over my first 2,861.33 hours of live recreational 1/3 NL.

Almost meaningless as game conditions can change drastically over time. I've put those hours over 7 years and the game has definitely gotten a lot worse.
