I'm curious to know where other posters in LLSNL play. Most of my poker takes place in a underground room in the Washington, DC area. I play in a 1/3 game, minimum buy in of $100 and maximum of $500. The game features all kinds of action inducing stuff, like the 7/2 rule, a rock that can be deployed for a $10 straddle OTB or UTG, and the ability to "run it twice" if both players agree.

Generally, I'd say that the players in the game are more aggressive than a 1/2 game in a casino. If you're playing in that type of setting, you probably have played more poker than the average casino goer. That doesn't mean they are particularly good, but I generally think the dynamics of the game reward straightforward TAG play.
