The thought has crossed my mind.

When the nit blows the dust off of his chips before 3 betting you preflop when you raise UTG and he´s in the big blind.

Or he min-raises from the button.

Not sure what this means?

You also wrote you're from Terre Haute in another post.

You really expect this forum to believe that 7 years after the Moneymaker boom, people in Terre Haute are just now starting to play NL in home games?

Or that you think it is great that you flop top set and allowed someone to runner-runner you without getting a good portion of your stack in?

Possibly you are a complete noob to poker and Terre Haute poker is exceptionally weak, but things aren't adding up. The more likely explanation is that you're a troll.

HAHA, seems likely. Especially when someone says they have run up a bankroll from very little to being able to play 2/5 then ask if 300bb deep means you've been in the bb 300 times. My apologies if that was genuine, but I found that really funny.

its all in the wrist
when you see loose money raise
when you see tight money play a tight line

There were nothing but limit games in this town until about 2 years ago. I have already stated that I'm new on the poker scene, Einstein.

It is more likely that you are a troll than I, seeing the number of posts you have.

Have a nice day!!

Of course you can't. Your comprehension skills can't go beyond the words you see on a screen. I gamble for a living. I've played poker for at least 8 years, but have recently took it on full time in order to make a living, or at least supplement my income for awhile. The action here is very soft, so somebody like myself with an education (master's degree and gambling education) can easily make money in these games. I lived in my town my entire life, and know all the gamblers, which includes poker players. This is how I would know that for years the only game around here was a nitty 3/6 limit game at the Vfw 3 days a week.

KK I never fold PF in a cash game
QQ, It has to be a very specific situation like huge stack against known huge nit etc.
I've been in a AIPF QQ vs AA situation against a local big nit reg but I only had 40BB at the time so I went with it because I knew he would play AK the same against such a stack.
So for QQ I don't say never, but folding KK pf in a cash game should be against the law imo.

I did it

Saturday Night...Folded K,K pre-flop after a 3 bet from a player I respect..after much talking and contemplating I folded them and he said, "Great Fold" and turned over two black aces.

It is unreal I have had K,K up against A,A at least 4 times in past 10 sessions or so.

The quick answer is that you don't fold without a terrific read.

However, there is a bit more. When people wonder about folding, it is often because they've needlessly put them in position where they feel forced to call. A classic case is when you raise with KK in EP pf, someone in LP 3bets, you 4bet and they shove over. You're pretty sure they must have AA at this point to 5bet shove. However, you've put 1/2 your stack in already and know it is bad to get half your stack in and fold pf.

The solution is to not 4bet. Against even a range of QQ+, AK, you have a significant edge in card strength to make up for being oop. Just call the 3bet. Just make sure you do this with AA too. You aren't afraid heads up of the flop with AA or KK. If it is multiway, then you're getting your stack in whether you shove pf or call and see a flop. Therefore, just jam it in.
+1
