What would you do here? BR and BI's

I play poker in San Diego, I play at Oceans Eleven.
The low limit games are 1/1 and 2/2, with the 1/1 buy in max being 20-40 and 2/2 max buy in being 60-100.
It moves up to 2/3 with a max buy in of 100-300.
Then 5/5 with min buy in 300-1000
The problem is being rolled for 1/1 or 2/2 but how +ev is it to play with 50bbs or less?
I have played the 2/3 and its a nit fest for the most part, if you get lucky you may get the right table. For the most part Everyone says 2/3 at Oceans long term is not beatable. I am a winning player at the 2/3 but not as much as I'd like to be.
The 1/1 is like limit poker. Dont except to get anyone to fold, its impossible.
The 2/2 is very much so a beatable game with the quality of players if you could 100bb buy in. But with 50bbs being max its basically a shove or fold almost.
The 5/5 is the prime game if you can afford it long term, Perfect mixture of business men trying to lose their money and bad players who move up to get respect from raises. (lol) It has it's tough players and its share of LAG's.
My question is what would you do in this position? Do we try to grind out 50bbs 2/2 poker?
Or min buy at the 5/5 or 2/3 and play TAG ABC poker?
Whats your play here ? How do we feel about 50bbs poker play in general?
Thanks. (Sorry if in wrong place)

I would do whateverI could to play the 2/3 game. If you can play on 10 BI or something, it's tight but you won't go broke in one night. The 1/1 and 2/2 seems like a waste of time TBH.
If you can get hooked into a home game circuit, that seems much more ideal.

play whatever game is best but only if you can buy-in full and not play scared. keep an eye on the 2/3 and play that to keep you average buy-in down til you build a roll. even though 5/5 is almost twice as big as 2/3, the varience will actually be lower than if you played in a bad 2/3 game.
