In this hand, I want to know what is the correct and optimal play for V2.
1/3 home game- table has a mix of decent thinking players and some loose passive fish.
Hero (UTG+2)– 30 year old Indian. I’ve been at the table for about 4 hours. Playing TAG and have not lost a pot at showdown. Been catching cards and also playing well in position. I’ve been picking my spots to semi bluff and it has worked well. Stack - $650
V1(UTG) – White guy late 20s. This is my first session with him. Opens quite a few pots, some questionable ones. I saw him open raise Q9o, A3o. He has a high c-bet frequency into multiple opponents. I’ve 3-bet him light a couple of times and he has folded. Stack- $400.
V2(UTG+1) – main V in the hand. White guy late 30s. Lost one buy in in the first two hours- I think he got sucked out. Bought back in for 500. Now sitting on a stack of $450. Decent thinking player. Have not seen him get out of line this session. I have not yet seen him make any aggressive moves so far.
V3(Button)- Fish on tilt. Not much relevance to the hand. Stack -$250
V3- button straddles to $6
V1 – raises to $18
V2 – calls
Hero – 7

Folds to button, calls.
Flop ($76) – Q

V1 – bets 35, V2 calls, hero raises $155
Button folds, V1 folds.
Pot is ~300. V2 has $390 behind.
V2 tanks for 5 min and jams. $270 more to me. I call and V shows A

My question is – Is shoving the correct play here for V2, why/ why not?
