What strategies do you use to tilt opponents? What strategies do you use to tilt opponents?

(This may be an unethical question, so feel free to remove it if its not permitted)

One of the most profitable situations in poker is when you have one or more opponents tilting on the table. Im curious to know what strategies do you actively employ to throw players off balance in live cash games or to make suboptimal plays against you?

For example:
- Needling a guy every time he loses a big pot
- Make a big bluff with a weak hand and show it to the table so they label you as maniac
- Angle shooting
- Sometimes when I get to the river and my opponent makes an evident value bet I start tanking and prepare my chips for a big raise (which I will obviously not do), then I fold and tell them "I was this close of raising you back on the river". People think im capable of making big bluffs so they might think I will try to do it next time
- Tanking excesively

I dont do every single one of this because I would not get invited to private games again lol, but if you have more ideas feel free to share them

Angling, excessive tanking and needling ppl who lost is just scumbag behaviour. There might be some short term gain that you are talking about doing these things but in the long run it will lead to multiple people messing with you which is never a good spot to be in. Imagine the most honest guy at the table pulling an angle on you when you will never think its an angle because of his reputation. When you play the games you describe it opens you up to this and everyone (including the dealer) will encourage it.

Usually its the most fragile people who pull scummy moves and when you start doing the things you listed you open yourself up to having the whole table do it back to you. Not recommended.

I was reading the book "The poker mindset" and there is a chapter talking about how to take advantage of people tilting. They say they will not tell strategies to tilt opponents because its highly unethical. But people have done the following things to me and throwed me off balance:

- Needling a guy every time he loses a big pot
- Angle shooting
- Tanking excesively
- Slowrolling

I must admit that sometimes they can make me change my game or put me a little on tilt, specially if the guy is running good against you. But im asking if any of you guys actively do any play to get players off balance. Im usually a really straight guy myself with the exception of sometimes incentivise a maniac image to get called light. Any ideas for "ethical" ways to incentive tilt in opponents?

I play low stakes and atd at least some of your EV has to come from having fun, and I don't enjoy it.

The worst I do is if someone is an ******* at the table, I overly go out of my way to praise them and empaphize with them right to the point where they can't quite tell if I'm mocking them or not.

You can shear a sheep lots of times, but only slaughter them once. Acting like an ******* can get some people tilted. Generally, those good at it have natural talent and don't need additional training.
