$1/2 NL. Here is the basics of how the hand played out. i am in early position and have $280, i look down and see 2-2 so i limp in, another 3 players call the $2 then a late position player, whom i know quite well, raises to $12. one person ahead of me calls, med. stack , i call and another person calls ($700).
The flop comes 2-7-k with 2 spades. the original raiser bets $35. I put him on a-k pre flop and this confirms it, as I said I know him and he doesn't bet $35 without good reason. The next player folds and I am pretty sure I have the best hand. With 2 kings out i doubt anyone has a set of kings and a set of 7's is possible but i'm not gonna worry about that yet. I have one player to act behind me and he has $700 and is a good player. So I raise another $50. The $700 guys thinks a long time, then calls. The original raiser (a-k) asks if a-k is good and folds. the turn is another spade. I know I am beat i know i have outs....blah blah blah. my question is since I raised $50 and got called obviously the bet was too small, what do you think I should have raised. after replaying the hand i feel i should have moved in on the flop and taken the $85 or maybe had the flush draw fold and the a-k call..who knows but some input would be ap[preciated.
Thanks
