short-term, bumhunting is much more profitable
long-term you are never going to get better and you are going to get passed by...
the key is balance, you want to practice good game selection but you have to be investing in your game and always trying to get better... it is hard to learn how to swim in the kiddie pool.
the whole idea of "dodging" good regs is pretty laughable to me, especially if you are bumhunting at higher stakes where there are 7 other players at the table besides you and the fish since you are going to get absolutely run over once people figure this out
