PAHWM:

1-2 Spread limit (100 per street cap). Texas Holdem.

I am playing at a makeshift casino that is only open for 30 days each year. The dealers have less than 100 professioonal hours dealing. Yeah slow games. But the fishyness of the players is making up for it.

Hero is on the big blind with 400 in front. He has pocket 2's.

V1 has about 200 in front..Old man coffee. Mid position.

V2 CO is a pretty loose aggressive Asian guy with 300 in front.

V3 Dealer is a pretty tight player with $150 but will push to cap with a marginal hand when he falls below $100.

V4 Small Blind is also tight with 200 in front.

Not sure how much stack sizes matter in Spread Limit.

OK:

So dealer begins dealing and throws the Queen of spades at V3. V3 laughs and the dealer shows the exposed card as the burn card. Dealer says "that's the best card I've seen in 2 hours."

Everyone limps to me with my 2c 2h. I am thinking of betting to steal this pot but V2 is too loose and has position on me. So I refrain and set mine.

Flop comes Ah Qs 4d.

Yeah that's not a stypo. The dealer mistakenly used the Qs burn card and put it into the flop. I check. Everyone checks. V3 says "hey isn't that my Qs!!!" Everyone laughs. The dealer laughs. The dealer mucks the burn card and reaches into the deck and pulls out the

2d

Giving me the set.

What's your move here? if I fire out a bet when I checked the first time around I think people might put me on a set. But then again there are now some draws to a flush and straight. (Small chance of a made straight).

This is a goofy home game. And yes stack sizes matter in a spread limit game. No casino would ever put up with this level of chicanery.

I would go ahead and bet. As the BB you can also represent various AX that didn't bet the first time or your having the draw yourself.

It's one of those situations where villains are probably going to fold a lot but if they do there wasn't a lot of money to be made. With the ace on the board and no flop bets it's just not a high profit situation. Somebody might catch one pair on the turn and pay off a single bet but the most profitable situation is somebody improving to a flush draw and/or straight draw and being willing to pay to chase.

I'm probably just checking here. Hope the next card isn't a diamond, and then fire out on the turn.

5-handed? I probably bet. Betting doesn't automatically indicate you have 22 b/c the 2 on the board isn't the only new piece of info since your last check. You also learned that everyone else checked behind. Therefore your check-dealer screw up-bet range could easily include a weak Ax, 4x, 2x (you literally have any 2 cards in BB going check-check so far) or also a FD where you want to iso against the loose player. And a bet probably clears out the tight players leaving you iso with a loose gambool gambool player who might call you down with Ax.
