Preflop, I might fold to the 8xBB open. 3! seems bad without other reads.

I would bet the river. He likely only bets if he was bluffing all the way. The best flush he can have is QcTc. It seems unlikely he opened that size with a suited connector. He probably bets KK or TT. You could be bluffing with a missed straight draw.

I don't mind a flat with AQs, but it's a super narrow range we should flat with.
I agree we shouldn't have much if any calling range from the SB in a raked 1/3 game. I'm just wondering if V's raise size changes anything, such that we now have a calling range, and what that looks like. If it's super-narrow, what else is in that range, or what should be in that range?

Like, what are we 3B'ing here? JJ+/AK? It would suck to 3B with QQ, have V jam, we fold, then he shows JJ. It will suck to flat call with AQ and be up against AK on an A-high board.

V's raising $25 off a $400 stack. If we 3B to $100, his most likely response would seem to be jam or fold. That makes me think we'd only want to 3B AA/KK/AKs - mostly hands hoping V will jam, not fold. If we 3B with AQs, and V flat calls, the SPR will be so low going to the flop that we'll be in an awkward spot on a lot of flops.

That's why I'm wondering if hero has some hands like A9s and A5s in his flat calling range, when V is fishy and takes this sizing. Those hands will be easier to get away from on A-high boards and boards we completely miss, but can also make some sneaky 2P or better hands that can stack a fishy V prone to over-playing big PP's and AK.
