$1/2. Maniac limps in middle position. I limp on the button with 22 (i cover all). SB limps and BB checks his option (bb has $500). Haven't played against bb much but he is fairly loose passive pre flop and passive post flop. Board is T83ss8x2x. Flop checks though. Turn checks to me and i decide to bet $10 into $8 to protect my equity and get value from draws. Also considering double barreling as a bluff to get blinds off weak Tx. BB calls and the rest fold. On river BB quickly donks $22 into $28. I tank and range him on 8x and boats. I decide to raise to $110. He tanks, asks dealer "how much?". Announces "I raise". Then raises to $330. Shove, call or fold???

Fold. River 3b is always the nuts, especially after he 3b against your huge raise. If you made it like $65 and he 3b he could still have something like A8/K8 but unless V is the best/worst player ever I can't see him 3b without a bigger boat here.

any more info on bb? He has $500 so there must have been some notable pots, hands of consequence that have shown down or revealed something more we can use as far as tendencies. Any hands you can think of how he played them?

Anyway...

"I tank and range him on 8x and boats. I decide to raise to $110"

Not entirely sure this raise is correct. Because of the reason of what happened and I'm not being results oriented. Don't think you can really find a fold here but it feels like a disgusting spot tbh. He is in the bb and has a lot of 8x however he's giving off tells like he has the nuts. Its hard to know if he is overvaluing 8x and going nutz or if he just flat out has it. 50/50 I think. 108, 82,33 are all likely holdings. Quite frankly you are only good here if he is overvaluing his hand and he is never bluffing. ie) it's not outside the rhelm of possibilities that we fold and he knocks the table, says good fold, then turns up 85offsuit like it was the nutz.

Vs a random it's really hard to find a fold here. On the otherhand if we are valueraising river everytime. does the value from 8x outweigh the times we station off to a higher boat?

If your strong enough to go for/get this much value from 8x and willing able to fold to a reraise when it gets jammed back in your face then you are a really good player, and should probably be playing higher stakes.
