3/5 $500 spread. Effective stacks about $460. V1 is short stacked (about $120) and pretty weak. Not the bluffing type or one to put you to a decision. V2 is a complete calling station but when he is moving money into the pot he has a hand. Also can get away when there is significant pressure in front of him but will call when the absolute dollar amount is smaller. Pot size and odds doesn't see to mean much to him. Easy to read. I probably have a pretty tight image.

V1 is UTG plus two send opens for $20. I have K 10 on the button and I call as does V2 plus one other player.

Flop ($80): Q 5 10

Checked to the pre flop raiser who makes it $20. One fold to me and I call as does V2. The $20 seemed like a half-hearted cbet and figured there were many times I was ahead here.

Turn ($140): K:

V1 shoves for $80. Now I figured I'm way ahead. V2 will likely call with a wide range of hands including most of his queens but thought if I raise it he could find a fold. I flat and he shoves for $350 more. Hero?

Why are we flatting pre against an EP raise w/ KT for 1/6 of effective stacks against the raiser? We're going to have terrible relative position if one or both blinds come along, and even if we're HU, we're crushed by V1's range and have no room to maneuver postflop. (E.g. are we stacking off when he cbets into a T52r flop?) Seems like a trivial fold pre.

As played, I can't see how we're ever ahead of V2 as described. AJ/J9/KQ are all definitely in his range, and it doesn't sound like he's the type to jam something like Kxdd here. Edit: I suppose some K5 combos are in his range too, but even w/o crunching any numbers, I'm pretty sure that doesn't add up to a call.

Fold here, fold pre, and raise the flop.

Folds?

Serious question:
Why is this a thread?

If this was the one time that he showed up with like bottom two in some weird not like him fashion, well then congratulations to him.
But we are so often crushed here that isn't just not a good spot. Fold.

Also, I'd fold pre flop.
I might get behind a 3bet/gii in pre line against this V for 24bb if we had reads that he will open weak and just gii for the hell of it with like T9s, JTs, QJs, 44+ and stupid stuff like that.
But flatting is just bad.
I also don't love the flop call.
Turn call is likely ok given pot size and drawy texture of the board, but it's not really fist pump gii type spot.

Pretty much snap folding to the jam from the stationary, always has a strong hand when he bets villain.
