1/3 NLHE, 9 handed.

V1 - Russian woman. Station. Minclicks with the nuts, sometimes with massive draws like Q8ss on a Ks-Js-Tc type board. Losing player. She's only semi-drunk for this hand. 500$. UTG+1.

V2 - Polish man. Mostly unknown to me. Has been playing loose passive and complaining about being card dead despite actually getting a lot of playable hands. Far more drunk than V1. 410$. BTN.

H - Not sure of image. UTG. I also have about 410$.

I see A J and open 10 (side-note: table has recently seen me open AA to 10 from up front), V1 calls next to act, folds to V2 who calls, 3-ways OOP.

Flop 30 - T 7 2

I bet 10, V1 calls, V2 calls.

Turn 60 - A

I bet 20, V1 folds, V2 raises to 50, Hero calls (haven't seen him do this yet, but only about 1 hour together).

River 160 - 8

I check, he bets 125, Hero? ..we both have about 215 back.

Bet flop and turn bigger. I would fold the river as having hearts as a bluff catcher in this spot is pretty bad and he's saying he has A7 or AT.

I obviously just limp in but that's me.

I'm fine with our small flop cbet.

Think I would mostly check the turn. AT gets there. We'd hate to face a big raise and have to fold our nut draw. It will be tough to get two more streets of value from weak one pear hands on this card and meanwhile if ahead everyone is drawing very slim thanks to our flush outs clobbering some of their outs. We also start inducing bluffs on this card that it looks like we're scared of. Thanks to the small bet and small raise we have the odds to continue so I do.

And I check/fold the river UI. In theory you could argue we block a lot of the bluffs blah blah blah. In reality, we got raised on a big street plus there was a follow thru, which means one pair is very rarely good.

If he's playing loose, you probably need to call. Plenty of bad players love ace rag. Granted, some of those are 2 p now but what can you do. You beat enough of them to call.

Big river bets, especially vs passive opponents, are SO often fat value.

Before reading spoiler - I call river. This wing-nut is drunk, and sounds tilted from thinking he's been card dead. He could literally be betting any weak Ace here, or even Tx, 8x, 99, etc. He could be mis-reading his cards for all we know, and think he's got something he doesn't.

As played, it looks like he turned an ace, and is putting you on a missed flush draw with no ace, or a worse 1P. Even loose-passive players can over-value top pair. Even more so when they're sauced.

I mean...total air. So...giving him maximum credit for actually having some sort of thought, he was repping an ace to get a fold from a K-high flush draw that bricked out? It's not even button-clicking.

Call river. Turn should be larger. Flop is ok.
