Hawaiian Gardens casino in Los Angeles. #youknowyoureadegenwhen $3/$5 nlhe. Hero starts hand with $300, villain 1 has $200, villain 2 has ~ $600.

Action folds to hero in cutoff with JJ. He makes it $20. Villain 1 in sb calls, as does villain 2 in bb. Villain 1 is typical action junkie, has been straddling and calling a lot of flops and check-folding when he bricks flop. Villain 2 has been talking strategy to attractive girl to his left, claimed in earlier hand that he was going to raise with flopped gutter until girl said she would check it down with him. Then he called and binked.

Flop kinda nasty A74rb. check-check-check

turn J - villain 1 bets $15, villain 2 makes it $40, hero??????

Do we ever slow play here? Or is this always a raise?

Did it bring a flush draw?

If not, I sly call I suppose, but I bet more than 15 and. I bet about 35 here.

As played, flat if not flush and def bet/raise all rivers.

If brought a flush draw, re-raise this to 85

Flat.

When villian raises river, you can RR him all in and lol when he loses a big hand in front of the girl.

I like flatting here because he could be showing off to his girl with a bluff and you dont want to fold him out. You want him to try to bluff river. Raising raises a big red flag to villains and will get them to fold medium aces. Let them hit two pair on river, and if they already have two pair they will bet the river anyways and call your raise probably.

What is your image so far, how have you played?

we have a $160 pot with $240 behind if the other guy decides to flat as well

i think we can flat here on the turn and when villain bets river for ~$100 we can rr all in and he will be committed with whatever ace or 2 pair he has

V2 could be raising with his stupid draws.

Normally I would flat, but since V2 is trying to impress a girl, I would raise big here and let his ego do the calling.

flop doesn't look nasty to me. I'd cbet the flop then you can definitely get away with raising the turn and getting called by worse. that's assuming someone donks the turn after your cbet and i doubt anyone is check raising your cbet here. they may both even fold the flop i can't say because it didn't happen.
