Ok, I know I played the hand super bad (working on mental game) but pre flop is where my main question is. Is this a spot where a 4-bet preflop is what I should've done? The main reason I did not is because the original raiser (preflop) is a super nit that pretty much is only raising with 1010+ and only continuing with QQ+, ive seen this opponent limp w AK/AQ/99/KQ/A10s from any position (ep-button). This hand really opened my eyes that i have a lot of leaks i need to work on. this is .50/$1, 9 handed NL holdem

V1($47)(limps w AK so what could they be raising?? lol) in MP opens for 3$

V2($40)(directly to left of V1) calls

V3($273.95) in HJ 3-bets to $7 (super weird)

Hero OTB(153.12) (TAG image) considers a 4-bet w JsJh but because of the action i decide to flat

LAG($246.67) in SB calls

LAG($52.13) in BB calls

V1 and V2 call

(pot $43)
Flop: 6c8c4c

SB leads out for 3/4 psb

folds around to me. At this point, I know I'm not folding here but I dont know if I should have gone all in or call and move all in on any non scare card turn. So I decide to just call

(pot $99.76)

Turn: Jc

SB again bets 3/4

I moved all in like a donkey (went on tilt with myself because lately i haven't been folding in spots that I used to, and some where inside of me i know i was on tilt because of how the hand played out)

River:

Kd

Villan has 8s9c

and the thing is OTT card right away I thought to myself "for sure he has a club" but for some reason went against my better judgement and moved all in (any advice on how to get on from these mistakes/tilt are very much welcomed).

What is V like? He's actually the biggest concern here, since he's the one who 3-bet *and* he's the only one who covers you.

Assume the min-raise isn't a sign of strength, I'd go for the 4-bet. If the original raiser (V1?) has KK+ you'll probably hear about it. If he flats, then you can see how he reacts to low boards.

Flatting risks playing a large pot and giving odds to random overcards.

OTF, you should probably just fold. Yes, it's nitty but your equity is ****. If he has a flush, you're miles behind. But even if he *doesn't* have a flush and only has a hand like Ac8s, your equity is only 48%.

OTT, pure spew unless you want to shove *as a bluff* because you think they will fold middling flushes. It's actually not a terrible bluff because if called you still have boat outs, but I generally don't try to bluff small stakes players off flushes.

Finally, if you're going to play the hand poorly because ("lol overpair") just shove flop. You'll get snap called and be way behind fairly often, but it's still better than shoving turn where you're literally never called by worse.

@krilleater, Yeah after thinking about this hand over and over, I agree a 4bet is for sure the way i should've gone. You are right that by me flatting I am helping to price everybody in and I ended up playing a multi way pot with a hand that doesn't like too many coming along. 4bet for sure!

Definitely a 4bet pre.

I probably just fold the flop. Vs. a true LAG, I might raise, but he is betting into five other players. I think flatting is the worst option.

The shove on the turn only works if your V will fold less than Ac, but I don't think you have enough left to fold any club.
