BB 3bets range is polarized. So 4betting a linear range makes no sense. That's why shipping pre is negative EV. You either win a small pot or get crushed in a big one.

This line is underbluffed so I'd overfold but BR clearly identified Villain as an elite player. I'd say most of the of population is skewed towards value with this line.

i'm thinking if this same thing happened in macau where stacks start at 250bb and often up to 1kbb later in the night this is a spot where I'd far prefer ripping it in

i don't think a lot of his value range can call a jam on the river and he could also feasibly call with worse if he decides to hero it

JJ is the only nutted combo I think that is feasibly in his range, QQ+ would be put in a very difficult spot here

but then again, I'm really unsure and haven't played "macau deep" for many years and am out of practice - but I'm leaning towards a jam vs a pro and a call vs a whale

V's line is not beast level to me... x flop bomb turn half pot bluff shove river. H can only call V's large turn bet with top end of range, then H is committed to calling river getting 3:1.

Instead if V bet ~1/2 pot and shoved river it would be much harder to call because H's turn range would be wider, and H could find more folds on the river. V's line is a spew as a bluff and should have been sized better.
