What information did you gain that told you where you were at in the hand?

I d probably 3! Pre flop With TT in MP to isolate EP.

AP: raise bigger on flop ~60, (or call).
AP: Check turn.

Imho check/fold OTR is OK here.

Tough spot regardless.

The mistake was the bet on the flop. Your bet on the flop basically guarantees you are playing for stacks with anyone who stays. I hate playing for stacks on wet boards with one pair hands. I can understand and sympathize with the urge to get the drawing hands out, but no drawing hand will fold because they have good implied odds to call with 2 people in and they both showed interest in the pot.

The turn is where to put your money in to deny pot odds and to a much better extent implied odds.

You now have a read on the villain. He is not a good player. He either made a bad call on the turn with his draw, or he made a bad bet on the river with his big pair when the flush hit. Either way, you have the losing hand, so fold. Then figure out which one it is and exploit! By the way, you should already know which one it is by watching him play for 45 min. If this is the first hand he has played in 45 min, I would venture to say that he is only playing big pairs and is willing to stack off with them on wet boards so let him. If he is in 25-50% of the pots, he is playing suited cards and staying in for the draws. Exploit that with pot sized turn bets.

When I started pot controlling flops with one pair hands and charging for draws on the turn instead I plugged a big leak and my winrate tripled.
