Hero ($250): 40yo reg playing tight, bought in for $300, won a few pots, down a little after folding KK on a gross board

V1 ($400ish): 30ish semi-reg plays well at times but can be spewy, prolly break even at best, he's been mixing it up in a few spots & taken down a couple of pots w/aggression ott

V2 ($500): 30ish wearing hoodie & headphones, new to table haven't seen him play a hand yet, have seen this V before but not a reg

V2 limps utg, folds to Hero who raises AJ to $25 from hj, btn folds, V1 calls from sb, bb folds

Flop ($80): J23

cks to Hero who bets $55, V1 raises to $175, V2 drops in 3 black chips

Hero???

This one could go in a textbook if you had more info on the players.

I'm thinking any two pair hands are probably out of the question so that means your hand is either good now or if not can't improve to win (unless miracle running cards).

I just don't see how neither V has a set here more than 25% of the time to make this a call. So, I think you have to fold.

That said, would not be out of the question to see V1 have something like A5d and V2 to have 55-TT. Tough spot.

seems like a pretty standard fold to me, against two villains.

Buy in for the max. Top off to the max before the hand. Fold, what do you beat?

Fold - you're probably beating one but not two.

One has a flush draw and the other has two pair or a set.

Easy fold.

it's a set scared the flush will hit. Fold. either way its an easy fold. (do you really think your up against KJ & QJ)?

I was suspicious V2 was making a move, also thought I might be getting too good of a price to fold w/only $170 back & $600 already in the middle. I tanked for about a minute & folded. Obv we should almost never be good in this spot against 2 villians & don't want to stack off w/1 pr even this short.

V1 called off for around $100 more from the sb, the board ran K8 & V2 showed QJ; V1 said "I have nothing" & mucked.

honeslty this is an easy fold if we arent playing so shallow....still i think you just gotta fold here....looks like a set from the V that limp UTG..

If we are observing this hand playing out at our table without being part of it and the player in our position called off with AJ, our thought process would be "standard live meh player flopping TPTK and being unable to fold".

I dont mean that to come across as rude in the slightest but if you remove yourself from the hand and the results, we would be snap folding without much thought.
