Hi there

I want to post a hand I played awhile back that I find generalizes a lot of my 1/2$ play and see what you guys think the best line is.

Table just opened at smaller out of the way casino, H has never been here and is just travelling through. Seems more reggy than usual, practically everyone knows everyone and is chatting between tables and with the dealer.
200$ cap 1/2 NLHE. Everyone buys in for 150-200, MAWG in CO has 200 as does H.

Hero sits down and gets dealt KQo from MP. 1 limp, H limps, CO (MAWG) limps (advice on playing against MAWGs appreciated), blinds complete, 5 handed.

Flop (10$) Qh Th 6s, ch ch ch to H who bets 10$, MAWG calls, all else fold. H does not hold the Kh.

Turn (30$) 5s Hero bets 25$, MAWG calls

River (80$) 8h Hero?

How's the turn bet? What does H do on a wet turn like Jh? Am I too thin for value here on the river? Does checking expose me to bluffs too much and a HPB in order?

thx in advance

Raise pre, not close at all.

$8-$10 is fine on flop. I think $20-$25 is fine on the turn.

Check/decide river, usually check/folding, but let's decide based on bet sizing. Hearts got there and J9/97 got there. Those can be a lot of combos. You block the KJ bluff. KQ/QJ- check behind. Gut shots 98 and 87 made a pair and will also check back. If you think about all those parts of villain's range and their # of combos, you'll see you can't bet for value, and yes, when you check, you're mostly going to be check/folding to a bet.
