1$/2$ NL live action - the game has been insanely tight except for one maniac.

V1 (650$)- Has been hitting hands like crazy (up maybe 3 BI's)
V2 ( 250$)- Has been taking some tough beats and has been down all day
Hero (200$)- been playing under 10% of my hands and mainly in position

V1 - HJ
V2 - SB
Hero - Btn (810)

Everyone folds to V1 who limps. Hero limps. V2 raises to (12$). V1 calls. Hero calls. pot (39$)

6810
V2 bets 15$, Hero acts out of turn and bets 45$, realizes its V1 action and is allowed to take back chips according to the dealer. After Hero takes back his chips, V1 looks directly into heroes eyes and says raise to 45$. After thinking about the hands he has been showing down Hero mucks.

If you dont want to know what V1 has stop reading.

V1 shows AA. Did hero make a good lay down?

Why would you fold Top 2...
Only hand that beat you is a PP, you were about to bet 45 yourself... why be afraid of calling... I know aggresion pays but still...

Even a pocket pair wouldnt play that way all the time. Usually on such a dry board you can relax and call and extract more. Only a straight could be there or some straight draw which are unlikely because of the preflop action.

Bad laydown, call, checkcall turn, check call river (depends on cards)

Don't call pre. Don't post results. Don't fold when you have top 2 and the other guy has aces.

Generalizing, but this line is pretty bad in almost all spots. You minimize your win and maximize your loss against all but the most lagtard bluffy opponents.
