Got into this hand and wanted feedback.

Saturday afternoon, 1-2 table. Table has been open for about 1 hour at this point.

H - 30 y.o white kid, should have a clean image, been playing tight, rarely limping, might have won a hand or two but nothing crazy. H has about 300

V - reg in the room, older white male, maybe in mid 50s. LOVES TO TALK, LOVES TO TALK STRATEGY, I have played with him plenty of times in the past, but his overall personality, and style of play (tight, usually agressive, rarely gambles, avoids straddles, bomb pots, CONSTANTLY TOPPING OFF, even if stack is down 1 dollar) I avoid, he just irks me.

Anyway OTTH-

H is in BB with pocket sixes, there is an open to 15 in EP, and by the time it gets to me there are four callers and I am last to act and decide to make the call.

Six ways to a flop.

Flop (90)

6c4d2s

H x, thinking this is a dry af flop and opener and callers should have plenty of pps better then the board. X around

Turn (90)
6c4d2s5h

Not a great turn, and I don't want it to x around so I lead for 20, opener, and main V calls

River (150)

6c4d2s5h2d

So i fill, and lead out for 50, only V1 makes the call.

Main thoughts from the hand, is a flop x good here, and sizing on turn and river, should have I gone bigger?

Preflop is standard call getting IO 20-1. I might raise closer to button.

Flop: just donk bet out. You are multi-way and you got what you wanted. Yes it turns your hand face up. But this is a pretty big pot at 1/2 and you will have to fade every low card since the field can always have A3/A5/55/33 etc. They are certainly calling one bet with all their gutshots.

Turn. Second nut worst card for us. Prefer to check/call. H Block bet isn't tragic.

River: I'd size up to 1/2 PSB. V from his tight description likely has a hand. Give him the chance to make a big raise.

I like the turn bet.

On the river I would 1.5x the pot.

Lead flop, $35ish. An over pair isn't folding, and smaller sizing might induce an overplay.

AP, you have all of the treys, nevertheless river is also good for an over pair. I'd go at least 80% pot.

Flop lead vs check is is meh either way. Donking from the BB into that many people is very strong but you can't be sure of getting a bet with that many people either. The board should have missed everything. Somebody probably does have an over pair but somebody with a middle pair can't be real happy and a high pair probably would have reraised preflop. All things considered I slightly favor leading the flop but if you think somebody is ready to bet then checking is fine also.

Turn is fine. The 5 is a bad card both in terms of somebody drawing out on you and in terms of getting anybody to put money in. The small bet that looks like a suck bet but is also a lot of a blocking bet for hero.

River should be bigger. Something $75 to $100. Something hard for an over pair/straight to fold while giving somebody with a worse boat space to raise.

Flop: Not bothering with balance going 6 ways. Prefer c/r over leading. If it checks through it means no one has anything so we want them to catch up. If we do lead it has to be small like 20% to induce.

Turn: AP, crummy turn. 78 and any 3 gets there. Don't love betting now. If no one had anything on the flop, they still don't have anything or have us beat now. And it's a rainbow so no FD to get value from. Maybe 7x will call a bet? I prefer to check.

River: AP, no one has anything strong here. An overbet will ensure we get no more money. I doubt a small bet will induce anything on this runout. I'd bet 50% to get a curious call from someone.

I like the idea of check/raising, but only if I really expect original raiser to lead into five players. I probably just lead and see what happens.

Turn is fine, although I go a little bigger. Might check sometimes depending on how table has been playing.

River is fine, although again I go a little bigger.
