Why are you betting the turn when you got two callers on your flop bet on a pretty dry K high flop?

Like what are you beating with K9 at this point, and what worse hands does these guys have in there ranges that justify betting the turn?

Seems like a good spot to slow down, so you dont risk getting raised off your equity- as was the case here.

+1

Most players who are pretty decent start out as TAGs. TAGs dont raise K9s.
As you get better and get more experience you can start raising more hands in position, like K9s. But if youre going to do that you need to play well post flop because you will be in more spots with marginal hands, like TP very marginal kicker.

Your 9 kicker is total **** when you have 2 callers and there are basically no draws on the flop. You picked up extra equity on the turn with the flush draw, but thats not a reason to bet. You are almost never ahead here. Just take the free card and raise the river if you hit the flush.

As played, you dont have TP and a flush draw. I mean you do, but just forget about the TP. The TP is no good and its very likely that hitting your kicker wont do you any good either so you basically just have a flush draw.

You need 35% equity to call and dont have it so you have to fold.

I like K9s as a steal on the button. But $10 isn't enough to steal much these days.

When we are called twice, it's still only "steal" quality.

Our $20 flop c-bet got us a "free" turn card, take the free card. We are not likely to get three (or even two) streets of value from K9 multi way unless we improve to more than just top pair.

Agreed. I don't even know why I posted this hand. I should have checked back the turn and taken a free river, instead of getting blown off the hand.
