NL 1/2
Hero is in a VERY wild game. Hero was at the table for about 4 hours. These are tournament poker or blackjack players. Hero recognizes most but never plays cash with them. Some could be tilted--off their game, not angry--due to tournament. It's now 8 handed. It was at 10 for a good 2 hours though. A rock just sat down but he tried to flee to another table based on the looks of it. Hero is in for 400 but now has only $180. Several of the players are in for $900. Everytime I think they're going to leave they bust out another two hundred.

One of the other six is severely tilted (banging the table, berating players) while the other five are happily gambling each hand. VPIPs for the six are between 70 and 100. It's a dream game I guess but Hero often does poorly in them overall. Hero is in a good mood because he knows that in any hand he can triple or quadruple up.

Previously, Hero frittered away about 65 bucks today calling raises preflop with 55, 77, 66, and 99. While the action was going on Hero also folded about 14 hands in a row with junk. Hero's image is very tight although my VPIP on the day was in the upper 20s at least. I knew that a set could be huge here as hands often were decided by fourth pair. A recent huge hand saw a 600 dollar pot preflop with QJ, KQ, and 58off. 58 off won with a straight.

This is one of the few non-raised hands. Hero has Q2 in the big blind. There are five callers including SB who completes. Hero checks.

POT $12
Q28
SB checks
Hero in BB bets 10 into 12.
Rock calls with probably the best hand pre. I'd guess AQ UTG. He did fold here though and gave an indication that he was going to by taking his card protector off.
MP player shoves for $80 all in.
Everyone else folds.

surely snap call vs short MP shove as its HU with the rock folding?
on such a loose table described, surely you want to be playing for stacks with TP+

I think this spot plays better as a CR given your description of the game.

This is a very easy call regardless why would you think of folding?

Any reads on V who raised all in? Few combos beat us. Q8, 22 and 88 while we beat the 82, all pairs, pair+draw hands, gutshots and flush draws. Reads on V would be helpful since V overbet jammed. Although the table is full of bad players but everyone is made differently. Calling here is fine too since we are going to GII anyway

He's a tournament guy, about 50, pretty good shape, friendly talkative fellow in for 700 or more, and drinking coors lights.

Easy call and reload to max buy-in
What's the max?

200 max, good, I just wanted some feedback on my position, ace high was winning this day but he tabled Q8 off for top two. Interestingly, he kept saying "no heart, no heart" despite seeing my hand and that neither of us had hearts. I turned the cards over as soon as I called. Maybe they were too far away, not sure.

In these games most short stack players will over bet because they are afraid of getting a bad beat. I think he would do this with some Qs as well.

That's what I hoped. I hoped he was doing it with Q10 or something here given the history of the table.

Gotta admit, with such a long write up on how good the game was I was expecting some sort of epic hand. The hand history was a let down. Trivial call.

None of the hands were too epic as it was rare to not see someone shove before the turn!
