8 handed, loose table
Utg (800) raises to 20, seems on the tighter side
Im utg +1 (1.4k) and flat, JhJc lot of bad players behind so didnt think iso-ing utg was the best play. Im new to the table but have been pretty active so far.
Lj calls
Btn calls (2k) very loose player vpiping like 80%. Seems straightforward postflop
Bb (500) fish calls
Flop 5d5s6c (102$)
Everybody checks
Turn 5d5s6c Jd (102$)
Utg leads 30$, i flat, btn flats
River 5d5s6c Jd3c (192$)
Utg checks, i bet 50$ , btn raises to 125$, utg folds, hero?

Flop seems like a clear bet for $40-50 once the PFR checks. If you’re not betting the flop you need to do something on the turn to start building the pot even if it’s a fishy minraise to $75. Basically bet more often and larger amounts across every street. You played this like you don’t like winning money.
As played, raise to $300-400 and hope he punts.

I would often bet 20 on the flop, checking sometimes might be fine ... esp. if we'll have a good idea if we are in front or behind BTN if he bets. The problem is AKQ hit UTG and 987432 hit BTN (obviously the later don't often have a better hand when they hit, but they can pickup equity).
Turn is weird, it's difficult to find non-value raises that didn't want to bet flop and so we have JJ/66/55 often but also UTG is either firing with AK praying for folds or maybe has a flush draw and mostly hoping for folds but only hits something good on the river like 15% of the time. Making it like 65 is maybe the least sucky size, and try to convince everyone we are raising flush draws. Call can only really be better if LJ/BTN are often going to decide they can bluff raise.
River is lol raise and call, without amazing reads. His range is just so wide he has so much more 65/53 than 55. As for a sizing, I would assume he isn't doing this with a random 5x ... so I'd go big like 525.

Id go to $400. Big enough to look like a possible bluff that wants a fold.

I'd go about $400. Really hate the thought of calling off my stack to a straightforward post-flop player if he shoves, but not much choice. Maybe I play too much PLO.
