You can flat with PP's since they're never dominated when flopping a set. But 56s is not a hand you want to play multiway because too often you could be drawing dead and your pair outs suck vs the cold callers range. 3betting is more likely to iso HU and will play well when you hit vs UTG's range which shouldnt include any low cards. Imagine the flop comes 568, there's a lot of **** turn cards vs MP, but vs UTG you're never worried about it.
