So I used to play a game that was £2/5 with £25 cap but the players were so bad it was beatable.

Now they run 5/10 with a £50 cap plus a £5 drop on pots over a certain amount for some promotion/league thing they run.

Another place I haven't played but been invited to (I expect the quality of player to be equally poor) it's £5/5 and the rake is 5% capped at £50.

Food and drink included but this is peanuts to what must be coming off the table.

With how much rake is coming off the table and do you think it's worthwhile playing (baring in mind the super low quality of player on average!)

How deep does the game play, and if it plays at least 200bb deep, will the players make major mistakes deep stack?

Will you be uninvited if you vpip under 20% ?

Sorry for the delay.

I would say they start off 70-100bb deep on average when it's 5/5 and 50-100bb avg when 5/10 and people aren't short of money so they tend to get fairly deep. They make loads of mistakes...

No I don't need to VPIP high to get invited.

Guessing by your questions that you think a proper TAG approach should see me beat these guys with this rake

I played a 2/5 game recently on a cruise ship where the rake was 10% capped at $25. Most players bought in for 60-100bb. I felt that game definitely was not beatable. With multiple 200bb stacks and some really bad players who can stack off light, maybe it’s possible.

If you can just play like a nit until people are deeper AND you're allowed to add on to match stacks, it's probably worth it. If it's capped at 100bb.....I wouldn't waste my time.
