While dealing a ten is exposed and put in the muck.
2-3 limpers at 1/3, I'm in BB ($150) and look at T5hh and check my option.
Flop QQ5 rainbow.
Villain in MP raises $5. In the three hours I saw him play this would be his largest raise. I call.
T (don't remember suit...but dang that's more important than I realized at the time. I was busy trying to figure out where I was at because I was shocked to see the 10. I definitely did not have a flush draw.)
Check Check
A of no-flush
I'll omit the river actions, but my real question is was it correct to be passive because a tight player would only call if I was beat?
In retrospect my hand was much weaker than I thought, as even though I flopped two pair...one of those pairs is on the board. (I think I'll call this 1 1/2 pair, because it's better than one but anyone with a pocket pair has two pair as well. Or is there a word for this like the difference between set/trips?) On the flop I'm beating 22-55, two broadways without a queen, and JT. I'm a huge dog to any queen, A5s, or slowplayed JJ, KK, AA. I don't want to see an ace, king, or jack come on the turn or river as I think villain's most likely holdings are AK, AJ, or KJ. (At the time I thought there were more suited broadways he could have without a queen.)
When the T hits on the turn maybe I was ahead of more combos than I thought. Although I am blocking half the board. At that point I was ahead of 66-99, A5, and TT is impossible for villain with me holding one, one on the board, and one in the muck. Maybe I shoulda raised there to charge villain for a shot at an overcard.
It's funny because I didn't really think much of this hand, I was gonna write this post in two sentences. Now I've spent an hour thinking about it and well...at the time I was playing my cards, now I am thinking about playing the player.

What was the betting action on the flop? You said Villain raised, so there must have been a bet before the Villain raised. Who bet? What was the amount of the initial bet?

As long as you understand that you're bluff-catching when calling that flop and your read of the situation says that Q's & 5's is likely good. After the turn gets checked through, I would probably lead the river for $12 as thin value. The other way to play it would be to c/r the flop and fold to a 3-bet. It all depends on your playing style, your opponent's playing style and the way the table has been playing.
For what it's worth, I used to bet any AAx flop and shut down to any action as I took almost all of them right there. QQx doesn't seem that much different. (it doesn't work all that well anymore, as skill level has improved in the deep-stacked games played now).

I'm assuming you mean Villain "bet" on the flop to $5? Against almost everyone in a multiway limped pot (let alone someone who hasn't bet a hand in 3 hours who is betting in MP), I just fold here. Our hand is junk, can't even improve to beat the most likely hand villain has, it's possible there are still others to react behind us that could be sandbagging, the pot is small (making a small mistake of once-and-a-while folding the best hand in a useless small pot is perfectly fine), etc.
I'm also checking (to fold) the turn.
By the river, Villain most likely has a slowplayed QT or a very small pair (like 5x/66). What's in the pot, like $20? I'd probably bet like $5 in order to get lollooked up by the small pair, and I'm folding to any raise against this guy.
