0.5/1 NL - 7 handed. villain has a stack of 180, i cover

hand 1: hero is SB, raises to 4 with 4 7 villain calls.

flop 4 7 A. i check, hero bet 5, i raise big to 25, knowing he will call me with an A or flush draw to big bets on flop and turn. villain calls.

turn 9 i check, he checks.

river 5 i bet for value (putting him on an ace) to 30, villain raises to 60.

should i fold this? im getting good price but it seems like villain got his flush or two pair?. should i bet the turn? will be happy to hear your thoughts.

hand 2: villain2 raises from UTG to 4, i call with A Q, villain donk min raise to 8, villain 2 call, i call.

flop A K K villain 2 check, i check, villain bet 14, villain 2 folds, i call.

turn (pot is ~44): 10, i check, villain bets 13, i call.

river (pot is ~70): 2 i check, villain bet 15.

i wanted to fold to a big bet, but this smallish bet confused me.. can i realy fold this? what do i beat? should i lead out the flop/turn? will be happy to hear your thoughts..

I hope your talking about hand 1? If so i agree, but i'd call river in hand 2

Hand 1: Was this folded to hero in the SB then villain called the 4xbb raise from the BB? On flop, why do you say "I check, hero bet 5, I raise big to 25". Doesn't seem to make sense.

Assuming that hero check/raised the flop, river is probably a fold but a call isn't horrible given that its BvB and the size of our river bet (30 into 58) may have induced a raise by worse. Reraise allin is also a possibility given that villain almost never has the nuts here. I probably check/call the river or if I bet, I bet/fold 48 to lower the chance of a bluff raise.

Hand 2: Easy call on river IMO given great odds even against this tight villain - that said, we're not that happy about it (villain bet $15 into $70). Hopefully he has a weaker Ace. He only has to have a weaker hand one in 6 times to make calling here profitable and I don't want the table to know that I can fold to super small river bets.

hand 2: yes, it was BvB, i bet preflop, and check raised the flop.

i agree with your thoughts on river play.

hand 1: is it better to keep betting the turn after the scary ? do u like my river value bet? isnt putting him all in too dangerous with a possible flush?

hand 2: should i be leading the flop/river? aftet villain 2 only called, can i reraise villain minraise and try to take the pot?

I don't get how villain is last to act on the flop - isn't he supposed to be in the SB?

In any case, I probably play it the same as OP and I'm fairly happy to see the river so cheap. It seems like a way ahead way behind situation so I'm not happy about pouring money into the pot when we're out of position like this.

I'm not too worried if I find out villain had a worse hand and we lost some value.

Hand 1: Behind alot of the time here, i'd c/call river instead of betting.
